The 27.43-metre Ocean Alexander GUSTO II has been sold, with Northrop & Johnson representing the buyer in the completed transaction.

Northrop & Johnson has confirmed the sale of the 27.43-metre Ocean Alexander 90 Skylounge GUSTO II. Brokers Robert Petrina and Mike Hickey represented the buyer, while the yacht was carrying a last published asking price of $4.4 million before the transaction was completed.

A completed brokerage transaction

The announcement records a completed sale rather than a new listing or price adjustment, making it a distinct market event. Northrop & Johnson identifies Robert Petrina and Mike Hickey as the brokers representing the buyer, while the final contractual sale price has not been disclosed publicly.

The last published asking figure was $4.4 million, but an asking price should not be treated as evidence of the consideration ultimately paid. Closing terms can include survey findings, inventories, delivery arrangements and other negotiated items that are not normally visible in public brokerage notices.

Ocean Alexander 90 Skylounge platform

GUSTO II was built in 2016 as an Ocean Alexander 90 Skylounge, a model developed around enclosed upper-deck living and long-range owner operation. At 27.43 metres overall, the yacht sits within the smaller end of the superyacht market while offering the volume of a substantial flybridge motor yacht.

The accommodation plan provides four guest staterooms, giving owners a balance between private use and hosting without creating the larger crew and service footprint of a 40-metre yacht. The skylounge arrangement also provides an additional protected social area above the main deck.

CAT power and stabilisation

Twin Caterpillar C32 engines rated at 1,900 horsepower each provide the published propulsion package. Northrop & Johnson lists an approximate cruising speed of 18 knots and a maximum speed around 24 knots, figures that remain subject to loading and sea conditions.

Side-Power hydraulic stabilisation is fitted with zero-speed capability, supporting comfort while the yacht is anchored as well as underway. For an owner-operated itinerary or coastal programme, that combination of speed and stabilisation can make short passages and overnight anchorages easier to manage.

What the sale confirms

The completed transaction confirms that GUSTO II has moved out of her previous active sales campaign, but it does not establish the identity of the new owner or a future cruising programme. Those details remain private unless released by the owner or an authorised representative.

Superyacht Guide records the sale using the broker's official notice and keeps the last asking price separate from the undisclosed closing figure. Any subsequent rename, refit or charter entry would be treated as a new event supported by its own dated source.
