Burgess is marketing 27.3m Wally CASA and 27.4m Lynx support yacht PLAYA as a complementary two-yacht ownership platform.
Burgess is presenting the 27.3-metre Wally motor yacht CASA and the 27.4-metre Lynx support yacht PLAYA as a complementary two-yacht platform rather than two unrelated listings. CASA is offered at €6.5 million and PLAYA at €5.5 million, with Burgess saying the pairing separates living space from the equipment and activity demands normally pushed into a larger primary yacht.
Delivered by Wally Yachts in 2016, CASA is a 27.3-metre motor yacht with 117GT of internal volume and accommodation for eight guests in three cabins. Burgess highlights two decks of outdoor living, a forward jacuzzi and an owner's suite that opens directly onto Wally's signature terrace on the sea.
PLAYA was delivered by Lynx Yachts in 2018 as a 27.4-metre YXT 27 support yacht and has a gross tonnage of 131GT. Her role is deliberately different, combining an expansive working deck for tenders and toys with a gym, sauna, steam room, hyperbaric chamber and guest accommodation for up to three people.
Burgess says the logic of the pairing is to keep CASA calm and owner-focused while PLAYA carries the operational load and activity equipment. Because each yacht can also operate independently, the owner can preserve the character of the primary yacht without forcing every requirement into a single larger vessel.
The approach also creates a different ownership proposition from buying one larger yacht with the same combined budget. The two current asking prices total €12 million, but the value proposition described by Burgess is based on separating functions rather than attempting to reproduce the same programme within one hull.
CASA reflects Wally's open-air design philosophy, with large areas of glass, broad exterior spaces and a close connection to the water. Twin 345hp Caterpillar engines give her a top speed of 12 knots, while Burgess lists a 3,800-nautical-mile range at 10 knots for extended cruising.
PLAYA uses a steel hull and superstructure and is designed around support-yacht capability rather than the residential brief of CASA. Twin 850hp Caterpillar engines give her a maximum speed of 14 knots, while the large aft deck and beach-club arrangement provide the working space needed for tenders, vehicles and adventure equipment.
Burgess lists CASA at €6.5 million and PLAYA at €5.5 million, with both yachts currently lying in the West Mediterranean. The brokerage's 25 August feature says both yachts are due to be at anchor around the upcoming September boat shows, creating an opportunity for buyers to consider the two-vessel concept together.
The pairing offers an unusual alternative for buyers who want more capability without moving directly into a substantially larger primary yacht. In CASA and PLAYA, Burgess is effectively marketing a ready-made division between home, hospitality and cruising on one vessel and toys, wellness and operational support on the other.
