A new €240,000 price reduction has taken the advertised asking price of the 2008 Sanlorenzo SL88 OASIS to €2.15 million, with IYC representing the sale.
The 27-metre Sanlorenzo motor yacht OASIS has received a €240,000 advertised price reduction, taking her latest asking figure to €2,150,000. YachtBuyer reported the change on 16 October 2026, identifying IYC brokers Costas Dimopoulos and Jamie Swaine as the representatives handling the sale.
The reduction is a new commercial development for a yacht that was already in the brokerage market earlier in the year. It does not mean that a buyer has agreed to the price or that a final sales contract exists. Purchasers should obtain the latest signed inventory and listing particulars from the appointed brokerage.
OASIS was delivered in 2008 as part of Sanlorenzo's SL88 series. Her exterior design, interiors and naval architecture were developed in-house by the Italian builder. A composite planing hull and a stated internal volume of 132 gross tonnage place her among relatively compact superyachts designed for private Mediterranean cruising.
Her design is more traditional than the newer crossover yachts appearing at recent boat shows. That distinction may appeal to owners seeking a familiar flybridge arrangement rather than dramatic fold-out terraces and other increasingly complex features.
The main saloon brings together comfortable seating, warm timber finishes, leather details and generous side windows. A separate dining space provides a more formal setting for meals, while the interior is finished in a restrained palette with occasional contrasting textiles.
Four guest cabins are designed to accommodate eight people, including a full-beam owner's suite, a VIP cabin and two twin rooms. Accommodation for up to four crew members is provided separately. Prospective owners should check current flag certification, guest capacity and layout against the physical yacht.
The yacht has a flybridge with loungers, dining furniture, seating and a bar. A sheltered aft-deck dining area provides an alternative place to spend time outside, while the forward seating creates another informal space for guests away from the main entertaining areas.
Steps lead to a swim platform at the stern. Although these are familiar yacht features, their condition and safe operation should form part of an inspection. Teak, railings, lifting arrangements and equipment wear can become meaningful maintenance considerations on a vessel approaching two decades in service.
The published machinery specification lists two MTU 16V 2000 M92 engines, each rated at approximately 2,185 horsepower. Reported speeds are around 25 knots cruising and 29 knots maximum. An advertised range of approximately 450 nautical miles is calculated at a lower speed of 15 knots.
Owners should not use those figures as guaranteed real-world performance. Fuel consumption, sea state, loading, engine condition and maintenance history can make a substantial difference. Independent machinery checks and a suitably planned sea trial remain essential before committing to the acquisition.
The €2.15 million asking price is one part of the financial picture. Berthing, insurance, fuel, planned maintenance, crewing and technical work all create ongoing costs, especially for an older high-performance motor yacht.
Buyers can ask for records of major servicing, stabiliser checks, generator hours and any recent hull or machinery surveys. The correct budget depends on the actual vessel and the intended usage, not on a generic percentage applied to her asking price.
The reduction may make OASIS more competitive among similar Sanlorenzo SL88 examples. Nevertheless, the advertised figure does not demonstrate market value in isolation or guarantee that all equipment shown in publicity materials is included.
IYC can confirm the current terms, berth location, documentation and arrangements for inspection. The reportable fact is the revised published asking price and the yacht's known specification, rather than any forecast of an eventual sale.
