30.4m Maiora M|30 Set for World Premiere at Cannes 2026

Maiora is preparing to give the 30.4-metre M|30 its world premiere at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival, placing the new model in front of owners, brokers and industry visitors at the Vieux Port from 8 to 13 September. The debut follows the launch of the first M|30 in Viareggio and gives Next Yacht Group a high-profile platform for the latest development in Maiora’s flybridge range.

The M|30 combines a broad 7.50-metre beam with a three-deck layout, accommodation for up to 12 guests and a design intended to increase the visual and physical connection between interior and exterior spaces. Official Maiora specifications give the yacht a gross tonnage of 190 GT, twin 2,000hp MAN V12 engines and a stated maximum speed of 21 knots.

Maiora brings the M|30 to Cannes for its world premiere

Next Yacht Group has confirmed that the M|30 will make its worldwide premiere during the Cannes Yachting Festival, where the group will also present the Maiora 36 Exuma and AB 130. The M|30 had already been previewed as a new project at Cannes in 2025, with the first unit scheduled for delivery in 2026, so this year’s appearance moves the model from concept presentation to an on-water public debut.

The first unit has now been launched at Maiora’s Viareggio facility, giving the yard a completed example with which to demonstrate the design in operation rather than through renderings and layout plans alone. For a model built around large glazed surfaces, broad exterior areas and walkaround circulation, the physical debut should make the relationship between its volumes and its coupé-influenced profile easier to judge.

A 7.5-metre beam creates unusually broad spaces for a 30m yacht

At 30.40 metres overall, the M|30 sits in a size bracket where internal volume and exterior circulation often compete for space. Maiora addresses that trade-off with a beam of 7.50 metres and a gross tonnage of 190 GT, creating enough width for a full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck while retaining large windows and generous side passages.

Four further guest suites are arranged on the lower deck, bringing total guest accommodation to five cabins for up to 12 people. The yacht also provides three crew cabins for five crew members, while the owner’s suite uses floor-to-ceiling glazing to bring natural light into one of the most private areas on board.

Quartostile and Acube Design shape the new Maiora language

The exterior design is by Quartostile, which has worked with Maiora on a profile intended to appear lower and more dynamic despite the yacht’s three-deck arrangement. The superstructure narrows toward the bow, while extensive glazing and glass in the bulwarks are used to reduce visual barriers and preserve sightlines from the interior.

Acube Design is responsible for the interiors, continuing a collaboration with Maiora that emphasises soft forms, natural materials and a less compartmentalised relationship between rooms and the sea. The design approach is therefore not based solely on increasing usable area; much of the concept depends on making adjacent spaces feel continuous as guests move between the main deck, exterior lounges and upper levels.

Beach area, walkaround decks and a convertible bow add flexibility

Maiora has enlarged the aft beach area and integrated it more closely with the main deck to create an open-air waterfront zone rather than treating the stern as a separate technical platform. The upper deck retains a walkaround arrangement with step-free circulation, while the redesigned sun deck adds another social area higher in the yacht.

Forward, the yacht includes a garage intended for water toys that can also be configured as a pool and sunbathing area, giving the owner another way to alter how deck space is used. These features support Maiora’s wider emphasis on adaptable onboard living, with exterior zones intended to change function during cruising, anchoring and longer periods spent at rest.

Twin MAN V12s give the M|30 a 21-knot top speed

The M|30 is built with a composite hull and composite superstructure and is powered by two MAN V12-2000 engines rated at 2,000hp each. Maiora lists a maximum speed of 21 knots, while the technical specification also includes a fuel capacity of 12,800 litres, a water capacity of 3,000 litres and a maximum draught of 2.10 metres.

Those figures place the M|30 firmly in the fast flybridge-yacht category rather than the high-speed territory occupied by sister brand AB Yachts. At Cannes, the significance of the debut will therefore be as much about Maiora’s approach to space, glazing and flexible deck use as outright performance, with the first completed M|30 providing the clearest view yet of how the new design translates from project to finished yacht.
