The 40-metre Riva SETTE has joined the TWW Yachts charter fleet for the West Mediterranean, entering the market from €220,000 per week. Delivered in 2026, the Riva 130 brings the Italian yard’s production-led design language into a charter category where guests increasingly expect the privacy and deck variety associated with much larger custom yachts.

Five double cabins avoid a compromise for charter groups

SETTE accommodates ten guests in five double cabins, including a full-beam owner’s suite and four additional doubles. That layout removes the twin-cabin trade-off that often appears in charter plans, giving five couples or adult guests broadly comparable sleeping arrangements rather than forcing part of the group into a more secondary configuration.

A crew of seven supports the guest programme, while the yacht’s 299GT volume is distributed across four deck levels. The result is a relatively compact superyacht that can separate dining, lounging, sunbathing and private accommodation without relying on the interior alone to absorb everyone aboard.

The foredeck becomes another destination

TWW identifies the foredeck Jacuzzi as one of SETTE’s key exterior features, adding a private forward area away from the more conventional aft social spaces. A large sundeck and waterside beach area then create two further outdoor zones, allowing the crew to set up different parts of the yacht for breakfast, daytime relaxation, swimming or evening use.

That variety is especially relevant in the West Mediterranean, where charter days often move between short passages, anchorages, lunches ashore and long afternoons on deck. A yacht does not need the length of an 80-metre flagship to offer different moods through the day if the available deck area has been divided intelligently.

Riva styling meets a working charter programme

The Riva identity is central to SETTE’s appeal, but charter service tests a design differently from private ownership because spaces have to work repeatedly for changing groups of guests. Materials, circulation and exterior furniture are no longer judged only on appearance; they also have to support crew service, fast turnarounds and the practical demands of a busy season.

SETTE’s multiple saloons and open-deck areas give TWW room to sell an experience rather than a single signature feature. The yacht can move between quiet family use and more social entertaining without asking every guest to congregate in the same space, an advantage that is easy to underestimate when comparing yachts only by length and weekly rate.

A new 40-metre option for the western Mediterranean

TWW lists SETTE for summer cruising in the West Mediterranean, where the yacht enters a crowded but active 35-to-45-metre charter segment. Her quoted 13.5-knot operating speed is less important to most charter days than the combination of modern delivery date, all-double accommodation and an exterior plan built around several distinct guest zones.

The €220,000 starting rate positions SETTE below the seven-figure weekly market occupied by the largest superyachts while still delivering a recognisable Riva product at superyacht scale.
