Allied Marine has lowered the asking price for the 40m Riva 130 Bellissima TENACIOUS by $2m to $19.95m, with the heavily customised yacht offered in Fort Lauderdale.
Allied Marine has reduced the advertised asking price of the 40-metre Riva 130 Bellissima motor yacht TENACIOUS to $19,950,000. Brokerage records show the change from $21,950,000 took effect on 13 October 2026, a $2 million reduction for the privately used yacht. TENACIOUS is being marketed through Allied Marine yacht broker Justin Sullivan, with the yacht currently advertised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The change concerns the price sought by the seller, not a completed transaction or an independent valuation. A quoted asking price can change again, and any eventual sale may involve separate negotiations, inspections and conditions. Buyers considering the listing should confirm the figure with the broker immediately before proceeding. The current offer follows earlier marketing of the yacht at higher prices.
TENACIOUS is hull number six of the Italian builder's 130 Bellissima series, and Allied Marine describes her as a highly customised example of the tri-deck design. Riva completed delivery to her owner in December 2024, while brokerage material lists her as a 2025 model. The distinction between delivery date and advertised model year matters when comparing vessels that were built and registered across different calendar periods.
The yacht's exterior and interior styling come from Officina Italiana Design, the firm associated with many modern Riva yachts. Her fiberglass planing hull and superstructure create a different operating profile from a steel displacement yacht of similar length. The broker reports an internal volume of 299 gross tons, a measurement of enclosed volume rather than the vessel's weight.
The broker states that TENACIOUS received approximately $5.5 million in additional shipyard options, with another $350,000 invested in custom bars, cabinets and tables and roughly $500,000 in bespoke furniture and décor. Allied Marine therefore describes the total original additional specification as about $6.35 million. These figures reflect listed customisation expenditure rather than a separately assessed amount added to the current market value.
The distinction is important because substantial build-time expenditure does not necessarily translate into an equivalent increase in a resale price. Some buyers may value the bespoke finishes or enhanced equipment, while others have different priorities. A serious purchaser should review the itemised specification, maintenance records and any warranties to assess how the upgrades affect practical ownership.
The three-deck arrangement accommodates up to ten guests in five cabins, with the full-beam main-deck owner's suite including a lounge and study. Four further en-suite cabins are placed on the lower deck. The main saloon is designed around a broad outlook through surrounding glazing and a ceiling height above two metres, with an adjoining dining area for ten people.
Material selections described in the listing include rosewood joinery, contrasting light finishes, marble and custom loose furniture. The yacht's dining setting uses full-height glass doors on either side to connect the interior visually with the surrounding decks. These details help explain the builder's approach to accommodating guests aboard a relatively fast motor yacht rather than indicating any recent refit.
The stern incorporates a beach club and cockpit arrangement described by the broker as covering more than sixty square metres. A broad aft platform creates access to the water, while the upper-deck aft area is arranged for outdoor dining. Forward, the owner can use a large sunpad and a jacuzzi, with additional lounge areas and awnings providing shelter in selected positions.
The listing also describes side passages linking the skylounge with the foredeck and two small balconies along the upper structure. Such spaces are intended to create varied outdoor settings across the three decks. Prospective purchasers should inspect the condition of external upholstery, platform fittings and hydraulic or moving systems, especially where the yacht has spent considerable time in a warm marine environment.
TENACIOUS is advertised with twin MTU 16V 2000 M96L diesel engines, each rated at 2,638 horsepower. Allied Marine lists approximately 756 hours for each engine in its current specification, although those readings should be reconfirmed at inspection. The yacht has both fin stabilisers and a pair of gyroscopic stabilisers in the listed equipment, alongside upgraded generators and fuel-management systems.
The navigation specification includes large bridge displays, twin X-band radars, thermal night vision, AIS and a wireless yacht-control system. These features may be useful during long passages and close-quarters manoeuvres, but their presence does not remove a captain's responsibility to assess weather, visibility, traffic or equipment faults. Surveyors should verify functionality, software licences and service records rather than rely on a brokerage inventory alone.
The yacht's advertised systems include multiple satellite internet antennas, cellular networking equipment and distributed entertainment controls. Additional upgrades cover galley and pantry facilities, professional laundry equipment, water treatment and an enlarged air-conditioning installation. The broker reports that TENACIOUS has operated with a full-time crew of eight and has been used privately rather than offered as a routine charter yacht.
These details matter to prospective owners because a yacht of this scale depends on far more than her exterior appearance. Reliable hotel services, connectivity, cooling and cleaning facilities help the crew maintain the guest experience. Purchasers should request relevant inspection reports and assess ongoing operating expenditure, including dockage, crew, insurance, maintenance and planned technical replacements.
Allied Marine places TENACIOUS in Fort Lauderdale and notes that the vessel is located in a Foreign-Trade Zone. The listing specifies that she is not for sale to United States residents while in United States waters. This restriction is important for prospective purchasers and is separate from the advertised asking price. The broker can explain the conditions applicable to a particular buyer and proposed transaction.
The $19.95 million offer presents an opportunity to inspect a relatively recent forty-metre Riva with unusually extensive custom equipment. It should not be confused with a confirmed sale, a builder's new-production price or evidence of the vessel's mechanical condition. Independent technical and legal due diligence, an updated inventory and a review of ownership and import arrangements remain necessary before any purchase decision.
