The Sunseeker superyacht ABOUT TIME has joined Northrop & Johnson's sales listings at $9.9 million, with six guest cabins, folding balconies and upgrades exceeding $1 million in 2025.

A new brokerage listing for a 2010 Sunseeker

Northrop & Johnson has announced that the approximately 40-metre Sunseeker yacht ABOUT TIME is offered for sale at US$9.9 million. The 21 October release names broker Sean Doyle and says the vessel has benefited from extensive investment, including a refit costing more than one million dollars in 2025.

The asking price establishes the owner's marketing position rather than the amount at which a deal will close. Buyers considering a vessel of this size should assess her maintenance and survey documents carefully alongside the quality of her onboard facilities.

Six staterooms are an important feature

ABOUT TIME can accommodate twelve guests in six staterooms, with a full-beam owner's suite that includes a king-size bed and a private hydraulic balcony. Four cabins on the lower deck comprise three VIP rooms with king-size beds and a convertible twin arrangement.

An additional VIP suite is positioned on the bridge deck, a layout that can offer greater independence to guests with different routines. An in-person inspection remains necessary to understand how private each area feels and whether the storage works for longer journeys.

Folding balconies transform the main saloon

Two hydraulic balconies open on either side of the main lounge to create direct views over the water, while a third serves the owner's suite. This design creates a connection with the sea that is often difficult to achieve with fixed glazing alone.

Moving mechanisms are an attractive luxury feature but also require careful checking. A purchase survey should include the condition of hydraulic equipment, sealing arrangements and safety controls, particularly because they form part of the hull's watertight boundaries.

Entertaining areas are spread across decks

The yacht's main saloon includes natural light from large windows and a dining table accommodating ten people. An upper-deck skylounge adds a games table, large display and full-service bar, offering another place for guests to gather without using the main lounge.

The upper aft deck includes outdoor dining and a powered awning, while the sundeck has a four-person Jacuzzi, bar and sun pads. A quieter Portuguese deck forward adds another setting for small-group conversation when the weather and sea conditions allow.

The technical upgrade programme is substantial

The brokerage outlines recently installed Rolla propellers, rebuilt generators and new or upgraded power-management controls. A titanium chiller installation, hydraulic works and main-engine servicing form part of the latest programme reported to prospective buyers.

The yacht also completed a five-year RINA special survey during 2026, according to the broker. That achievement is relevant but should not be interpreted as an unconditional warranty against future repairs or evidence that every system has been replaced.

A water-access platform and tender equipment

A hydraulic swimming platform supports easy access to the sea and the vessel's collection of water toys. The listing refers to a 19-foot Aquascan tender, personal watercraft, underwater scooters and further equipment intended for enjoying an anchorage.

The exact inventory included in any purchase must be established in writing. Owners also need to review servicing, the condition of tenders and compliance with regulations affecting motorised water toys in their intended cruising region.

The acquisition decision must include operating costs

A six-cabin Sunseeker with numerous outdoor spaces and substantial refit history may attract families looking for an established large yacht without a newbuild timetable. Nevertheless, crew staffing, insurance, maintenance and annual berth expenses remain large components of the ownership budget.

Buyers should seek an independent condition assessment and clear documentation of all refit costs and outstanding works. Sean Doyle is the broker named in the official announcement for arranging detailed viewings and further information.
