The 43.89-metre Burger motor yacht CROSSED SABRE is currently offered for sale through IYC at an asking price of $16.9 million.

IYC is currently marketing the 43.89-metre Burger motor yacht CROSSED SABRE at $16.9 million. Delivered in 2006 and refitted in 2023, the 499 GT yacht combines seven guest cabins with features including an elevator, a fold-out balcony and a sundeck Jacuzzi.

A current $16.9 million offer

The official IYC listing places CROSSED SABRE at an asking price of $16.9 million, giving buyers a clear current reference point for the campaign. As with any brokerage listing, that number is an offer rather than evidence of the amount that would be paid in a completed transaction.

The yacht's age and refit record are important to interpreting the campaign because a 2006 vessel can vary significantly depending on machinery work, coatings, interiors and class-related maintenance. IYC records a substantial refit in 2023, which forms part of the current presentation.

Seven cabins and 499 GT

CROSSED SABRE accommodates up to fourteen guests in seven cabins, an unusually generous guest count for a yacht below 45 metres. Her 499 GT volume keeps the vessel below the 500 GT threshold while still providing multiple guest and social spaces across the Burger-built platform.

An elevator connects principal interior levels, improving movement around the yacht for guests who may not want to rely on stairs. The listing also highlights a fold-out balcony, adding a closer connection to the water without requiring a full contemporary beach-club arrangement.

Sundeck and cruising profile

The exterior plan includes a sundeck Jacuzzi and open-air guest areas suited to warm-weather cruising. IYC publishes a cruising speed of about 12 knots and a maximum speed around 14 knots, reflecting a displacement-oriented operating profile rather than high-speed performance.

That slower cruising profile can suit owners who prioritise range, interior volume and time at anchor over rapid passage making. Actual consumption and range will depend on loading, machinery condition, weather and the captain's selected engine settings during a particular voyage.

A Burger-built brokerage option

Burger Yacht Company has a long history of aluminium custom construction in the United States, giving CROSSED SABRE a different pedigree from contemporary European series-built yachts of similar length. The current campaign therefore combines American custom construction with a relatively recent refit and high guest capacity.

Superyacht Guide records the yacht's asking price and published specifications from IYC's current official listing. Any future sale, price adjustment, agency change or further refit should be treated as a separate dated event supported by an authorised source.
