IYC has listed the 48m Picchiotti KOKOMO NIGHTS for €4.55 million, citing recent expenditure of over €1.27 million, a steel hull and a 6,000nm quoted range.
IYC has added the 48-metre Picchiotti-built KOKOMO NIGHTS to its sales portfolio with an asking price of EUR 4.55 million. Its announcement of 15 October identifies Jamie Swaine as the sales consultant and describes a large traditional displacement superyacht with significant space for guests and crew.
The broker reports recent works costing more than EUR 1.27 million, covering mechanical, technical and cosmetic items. A complete exterior repaint was among the improvements carried out through the winter of 2025 and 2026, potentially reducing some of the near-term maintenance demands associated with a substantial steel yacht.
Expenditure figures are useful context but cannot determine the yacht’s market value without inspection. Buyers should request the actual contractor records, invoices, survey findings and details of any outstanding recommendations before assessing the scope and quality of the completed programme.
KOKOMO NIGHTS is advertised with 394 gross tonnes of enclosed volume and accommodation for twelve guests across six ensuite cabins. The layout includes a full-beam owner’s suite, supported by crew quarters for ten, providing the staffing capacity required for extended cruising and guest service.
Interior design is credited to Shawn Paulic, while the external lines are by Arthur De Fever. Several areas are arranged for socialising, including spaces for alfresco dining, sunbathing and an outdoor heated spa with room for six.
A large volume figure does not directly measure usable guest floor area, but it gives an indication of the scale of the interior relative to length. Owners contemplating a commercial role should also evaluate storage, laundry, galley equipment and the crew circulation required to support twelve guests over several weeks.
The steel displacement hull is paired with 65,000 litres of fuel capacity, which IYC associates with a quoted range of approximately 6,000 nautical miles. Such endurance could support substantial cruising itineraries if the operating speed, reserves and consumption assumptions can be matched in practice.
The seller reports comprehensive overhauls of twin Caterpillar D398 engines and upgrades to other equipment. Prospective purchasers need to establish each engine’s total operating hours, scope of the overhauls and remaining inspection obligations rather than treating the word overhaul as a standardised warranty.
For a yacht with transoceanic aspirations, the suitability of navigation, communications, tank arrangements and lifesaving systems should receive as much attention as propulsion. The capability to cross longer passages safely depends on condition, crew readiness and route planning as much as on theoretical range.
IYC says the yacht is commercially compliant and currently operates an active charter programme. That may interest owners hoping to combine private use with some income, but charter income is not guaranteed and a buyer must confirm each applicable certification and contract.
The disclosed equipment includes a 9.2-metre Axopar tender, another tender, two Kawasaki personal watercraft, an e-foil and other watersports gear. Buyers should check what is included in the sale, what warranties are transferable and whether storage and launching arrangements remain fit for purpose.
The announced EUR 4.55 million is a public asking price rather than a verified transaction. KOKOMO NIGHTS joins the market as an individual older steel yacht with an unusual combination of volume, cruising range and recently completed work, making a detailed independent survey especially important.
