The 70-metre Feadship JOY has entered the brokerage market with Cecil Wright at an asking price of €77.5 million following a 2026 refit.

The 70-metre Feadship JOY is now offered for sale through Cecil Wright at an asking price of €77.5 million. Delivered in 2016 and refitted in 2026, the custom Feadship combines Bannenberg & Rowell exterior design with Studio Indigo interiors, seven guest cabins and a 4,500-nautical-mile range.

A €77.5m entry into the large Feadship resale market

Cecil Wright’s current sales listing places JOY at €77.5 million. The yacht was delivered by Feadship in 2016 and has completed a 2026 refit, giving prospective buyers a relatively recent maintenance baseline to examine alongside class records, machinery history and survey findings.

At 70 metres and 1,095 GT, JOY sits in a part of the brokerage market where build pedigree, technical condition and refit documentation can be as important as age. Her current campaign therefore centres on a recognised Dutch builder, a well-documented design pedigree and immediate availability rather than a new-build timetable.

Bannenberg & Rowell shaped an unconventional exterior

JOY’s exterior design is by Bannenberg & Rowell, with Feadship responsible for naval architecture and construction. The yacht is defined by extensive glazing, broad exterior decks and a long foredeck, with a layout conceived around fluid movement between indoor and outdoor areas.

One of the most recognisable elements is the winter garden concept, where sheltered and open-air spaces overlap to create greater flexibility in changing weather. The arrangement gives guests several ways to use the decks without relying solely on a conventional open aft terrace.

Seven cabins and five decks support extended cruising

Studio Indigo designed the interior, which accommodates up to 12 guests in seven cabins according to the current sales campaign. The yacht also carries a large crew complement and distributes guest spaces across five decks, including formal and informal lounges, dining areas and private owner facilities.

A beach club, games deck and dedicated wellness spaces broaden the onboard programme beyond simple accommodation. For buyers considering long periods aboard, the important question is how effectively those different zones work together while preserving separation between guest, owner and crew circulation.

A 4,500nm range adds genuine cruising capability

Cecil Wright quotes a range of approximately 4,500 nautical miles at 12 knots. That gives JOY the operational reach for longer Mediterranean, Atlantic and Caribbean passages without positioning the yacht as a dedicated explorer.

The combination of long-range capability, Feadship engineering and a substantial 2026 refit should make technical inspection central to any acquisition process. At this scale, buyers will want detailed evidence on machinery, generators, stabilisation, hotel systems, paint condition and class status before assessing how the €77.5 million asking price compares with other large Northern European yachts on the market.
