Six Superyachts Cross Atlantic Ahead of Caribbean Charter Season
Six charter yachts are making the seasonal move toward the Caribbean and Bahamas, including MEMORIES, NORTH STAR, ATLAS, WANDERLUST, LUCKY LADY and IMPROMPTU.
The 49.9-metre Admiral OURANOS is advertising an extra charter day for selected Greece bookings in May 2027, subject to a December 2026 signing deadline and other conditions.
The Admiral superyacht OURANOS is being marketed with a promotion that adds an eighth day to qualifying Greek charters without increasing the basic hire fee for seven days. The 49.9-metre motor yacht was advertised on 2 October, and the reported terms are intended to encourage early-season bookings.
The offer applies to specified May 2027 trips for which contracts are signed by 31 December 2026. Those conditions matter because a bonus day should not be interpreted as a permanent reduction in the yacht's weekly price or a guaranteed opportunity for every date.
An extra day aboard could allow guests to enjoy another favourite harbour, spend longer swimming at anchor or return to port without rushing. However, a reduced effective base hire rate does not necessarily remove fuel, provisioning, port, tax and other running costs incurred during the additional time.
Charterers should request a written quotation that distinguishes the basic hire from the expenses and explains precisely how the eighth day is counted. A broker should also confirm the departure and arrival arrangements before guests book international flights.
OURANOS has been marketed as a professionally crewed Admiral vessel with substantial outdoor lounging and a sundeck Jacuzzi. A beach club provides access to the water and a starting point for activities, while stabilisation systems are intended to improve comfort.
The charter specification lists accommodation for twelve guests in six cabins and a crew complement of up to thirteen. Its interior arrangement includes a master suite, a VIP, two double rooms and two cabins that can be configured in different ways.
The current marketing material describes a sizeable inventory of water toys, including Jet Skis, Jet Surfs, Flyboards, SEABOBs, paddleboards, kayaks and a water slide. The yacht also carries three tenders, including a 14-metre Technohull Omega rigid inflatable boat for excursions.
The exact equipment, guest qualifications and local rules should be checked before promising a particular activity. Powered toys cannot be operated in every anchorage, and the crew must choose suitable conditions for swimming and water access.
Early-season Greece can be attractive to travellers who prefer quieter destinations and a less crowded atmosphere. Water temperatures, harbour services and the effects of local wind patterns may differ from those encountered during July and August.
A sensible itinerary balances sheltered anchorages with visits to island towns and relaxed time aboard. An extra day is most useful if it creates flexibility rather than encouraging passengers to cover more miles than the prevailing conditions allow.
The promotional period was announced in October 2026 for charters taking place during May 2027. The source says agreements must be signed before the end of December 2026, but published availability may change as other guests reserve dates.
A customer should have the final yacht, travel period, base rate, expense terms and concession included in the signed documentation. An online notice provides useful information for comparison, yet it is not itself a booking confirmation.
A large yacht such as OURANOS offers ample social and private facilities, but its suitability for a holiday depends on the guest group and intended route. Families should discuss cabin privacy, activity preferences, dietary requirements and mobility needs with the charter broker.
A carefully designed programme can make use of the additional day without overloading the crew or passengers. The best value is not simply an extra date on the calendar, but a safer and more comfortable experience built around the people aboard.
