The 55-metre Amels GALENE is listed for charter from $315,000 per week following a 2025 refit, with Fraser offering the yacht for 12 guests in five cabins. Delivered in 2020 as the final Amels 180 Limited Edition, GALENE combines Tim Heywood exterior styling, Laura Sessa interiors and a charter layout centred on large social spaces and fold-down balconies.

The final Amels 180 enters a new charter phase

Fraser added GALENE to its charter fleet in June 2026, shortly after reporting the yacht’s sale in May. The brokerage describes her as the final Amels 180 Limited Edition delivered, giving the yacht a particular place in one of Damen Yachting’s most established semi-custom series.

The 2025 refit means the current charter specification reflects work completed after the original 2020 delivery. A refit year alone does not describe every task undertaken, so charterers and managers should rely on the current specification for equipment and availability.

Five suites for 12 guests

GALENE accommodates 12 guests in five suites, led by a full-beam owner’s cabin with a private fold-down balcony. Two convertible twin suites can be linked through an adjoining partition, providing flexibility for families or groups that want a larger shared accommodation zone.

Floor-to-ceiling glazing and additional fold-down balconies in the main salon increase the connection between interior and exterior spaces. Those features complement rather than replace the large exterior decks, which remain central to day-to-day charter use.

Sundeck and swim platform drive outdoor use

The sundeck includes a large Jacuzzi, service bar, sunpads and optional shade, creating a principal gathering space above the guest decks. At water level, a hydraulic swim platform simplifies access to tenders and toys and gives guests a larger staging area at anchor.

Fraser also highlights a substantial water-toy inventory and an experienced charter crew. Equipment lists can change between seasons, so specific toys and tenders should be confirmed for the intended dates rather than assumed from older marketing material.

Current rate and seasonal market

The active charter page lists GALENE from $315,000 per week plus expenses. The yacht carries 13 crew and, at 55 metres, sits in the central band of the large-yacht charter market where Amels 180 vessels have developed an established operational track record.

Taxes, fuel, provisioning and itinerary-specific costs sit outside the base weekly rate. The current listing nevertheless establishes a clear 2026 market position for a recently refitted, late-generation Amels 180 with five guest suites and a strong outdoor programme.
