Italian custom yachtbuilder Antonini Navi has named Denison Yachting its exclusive representative for the United States and Mexico, focusing on four projects.

A focused commercial expansion in North America

Italian superyacht builder Antonini Navi has appointed Denison Yachting as its exclusive representative for the United States and Mexico. The company-issued announcement, distributed on 22 October 2026, describes the relationship as part of an international sales expansion intended to connect prospective North American owners directly with the La Spezia yard. It covers full-custom yacht projects and selected developing models, with a local brokerage team handling initial enquiries.

The geographic terms are worth noting: the announcement specifies the United States and Mexico, not a blanket worldwide appointment. An owner in either market can use the representation to explore a build with an Italian shipyard while remaining mindful that technical specification, contract terms, warranty support and delivery responsibilities must still be agreed with the appropriate parties. A commercial agreement is not itself a new-yacht order.

Why the timing matters for the shipyard

Antonini Navi says the partnership comes as its portfolio has moved from early proposals to tangible production milestones. The yard delivered Seamore 34 earlier in 2026, continues work on Evo 31 and Lounge 40, and has reported the first sale of its XPD95 explorer design. These stages represent different commercial propositions: one delivered full-custom vessel, projects in construction and a newly sold explorer awaiting its next major production milestones.

The company grew from industrial shipbuilding expertise within the Antonini group and positions its work around steel-and-aluminium construction. Bringing that approach to a broader market requires clients to understand the yard's actual delivery experience as well as its design partnerships. A named local representative can help translate this record into a practical conversation about build availability, schedules and the degree of control an incoming owner retains.

Four projects at the centre of the initiative

Seamore 34 is the yard's delivered full-custom crossover yacht, with exterior work by Hydro Tec and interior design by Hot Lab. Evo 31 is a semi-custom project expected by Antonini Navi to launch during October, using a more established platform approach. The planned launch remains a forecast until the yard confirms the event and should not be reported as already completed merely because the target month has arrived.

Lounge 40 is in construction and is positioned for an owner prepared to join a programme that has already begun. This can shorten delivery time relative to an entirely new commission, but it generally reduces the scope to alter the hull, engineering and structural architecture. XPD95 is a nearly 30-metre explorer yacht reported sold, with NAMES under Francesco Rogantin responsible for naval architecture and engineering, Hot Lab for interiors and Sculli & Covini for exteriors.

The meaning of full custom versus semi custom

A full-custom commission can give an owner greater freedom over dimensions, layout, engineering and exterior form, subject to naval-architectural, production and regulatory limitations. It often requires a more involved design process and can carry longer decision cycles. Semi-custom work starts from a more defined platform, allowing yard processes, engineering solutions and component specifications to be reused while still accommodating meaningful owner preferences.

Antonini Navi's portfolio makes this distinction visible. The delivered Seamore demonstrates an individual build, Evo 31 presents a platform-based approach, Lounge 40 offers entry into an active construction programme and XPD95 targets extended-range exploration. Buyers should compare these choices on actual specifications, stage of completion and contractual commitments rather than reading all four as immediately available finished yachts.

Design collaborators and project credibility

The yard cites work with Fulvio De Simoni, Nauta Yachts, Hot Lab and Hydro Tec among its wider design relationships. Collaboration with established external studios can deepen the available expertise, but it does not mean every named practice has contributed to every project. The appropriate design credits need to remain attached to the specific hull or programme for which they are documented.

An owner reviewing a yard's claims should also request evidence of classification strategy, structural engineering, production-stage inspections, subcontractor responsibilities and systems commissioning. Commercial photography can reveal workmanship and layout, yet a sound technical procurement process depends on drawings, test records and witnessed milestones. A broker may facilitate these conversations, but the builder remains central to the technical delivery obligation.

What to watch next

Denison's North American presence could widen the number of potential buyers who encounter Antonini Navi's projects, especially clients interested in custom steel yachts below the very largest segment. Whether this converts into new orders, and on what timetable, remains unknown. The release contains no disclosed sales target, projected turnover or signed contract arising from the new appointment.

Near-term progress can be judged through concrete events: Evo 31's actual launch, construction updates on Lounge 40 and the keel-laying and development of the sold XPD95. For now the verifiable story is a new exclusive US-and-Mexico representation agreement, supported by an existing delivered yacht and several programmes at distinct stages. That is a meaningful commercial step without needing to inflate it into an unannounced order book.
