Azimut Opens Genoa 2026 with 12-Yacht Display Led by Grande 44M
Azimut has opened its 2026 Genoa display with twelve yachts across the Grande, Magellano, Fly and Seadeck ranges at Dock F.
Fira de Barcelona says the 2026 Barcelona International Boat Show will host 170 direct exhibitors, more than 300 represented brands and over 200 boats.
Fira de Barcelona has released the latest scale figures for the Barcelona International Boat Show, which runs at Port Vell from 14 to 18 October. The 63rd edition is set to bring together 170 direct exhibitors, more than 300 represented brands and over 200 boats, alongside new marina, technology and on-water experience areas.
The organisers say the 2026 show will display more than 200 boats across its in-water and land-based areas, with vessels spanning multiple size categories. Fourteen boats over 16 metres are included, while the broader line-up ranges from smaller recreational craft to premium sailing and motor yachts.
For Superyacht Guide, the event is not comparable in scale with Monaco's dedicated superyacht fleet, but Barcelona remains relevant to the wider yacht market. It connects production-yacht brands, marinas, equipment companies and buyers within an important Mediterranean service and cruising hub.
Fira de Barcelona reports 170 direct exhibitors and more than 300 represented brands for the October edition. The line-up includes established international builders alongside Spanish companies, creating a market-facing event that mixes product launches, dealership activity and industry networking.
The presence of a large number of represented brands also shows why exhibitor totals and brand totals should not be treated as the same measure. Dealers can represent several manufacturers, while some companies appear through distributors rather than operating their own standalone show space.
The Moll de la Fusta area will include a Marinas & Harbour Facilities zone with participation linked to more than 240 marina facilities. The event is also introducing an Innovation Dock focused on electric boats and lower-emission technologies, with both static displays and on-water demonstrations.
Marina infrastructure is relevant to larger-yacht operations because berth capacity, shore power and service access shape regional cruising. Technology demonstrations are equally useful when they show how new systems behave on the water rather than relying only on marketing claims made inside an exhibition hall.
Barcelona's conference programme will run at Marina Port Vell with sessions covering training, port-city relationships, access to boating and sector competitiveness. The organisers are therefore positioning the show as both a sales event and a meeting point for policy, infrastructure and commercial discussion.
Superyacht Guide will treat major builder launches and yacht-specific announcements from the event as separate stories when official material is released. This report records the show scale and programme confirmed by Fira de Barcelona on 30 September.
