Benetti LADY SARAH to Join Fraser Charter Fleet in Summer 2027

Fraser's published programme for the delivered Benetti Oasis 40M LADY SARAH places the yacht in the charter market from summer 2027, following private use during her first Mediterranean season in 2026. The 40-metre yacht was handed over earlier this summer, so the charter timing is a forward-looking operating plan rather than a new delivery reported today.

A charter guest became the yacht owner

Fraser traces the project to a client who had spent several years chartering in the Mediterranean, eventually deciding to commission a yacht tailored to a clearer understanding of his requirements. Sales broker Jan-Jaap Minnema supported the search and introduced the Benetti platform during Cannes 2024.

The yacht subsequently involved the brokerage's sales, project management, recruitment, yacht management and charter teams. Fraser presents the transaction as an example of an ownership journey moving from charter experience to a customised production build.

A familiar hull with individual interiors

The Oasis 40M platform retained its core engineering and construction programme, while the owner asked for a substantially individual interior. Fraser says Bonetti & Kozerski worked with Leonardo Santi Design on a decorative scheme built around selected marble, bronze detailing and curated Italian furnishings.

The customisation was coordinated to fit Benetti's established production process rather than change the yacht into an entirely new platform. Fraser's published account identifies cabinetry and furniture choices as owner-led decisions and distinguishes them from exterior and naval-architecture credits.

Private cruising comes before charter

Following handover, LADY SARAH was scheduled for a private Mediterranean season in 2026 before adding a Mediterranean and Red Sea cruising pattern. Fraser states that commercial charter availability begins from the summer 2027 season, rather than treating the yacht as available immediately.
