Bluegame is preparing the 25.6m BGX83 for its first US appearance at the 2026 Fort Lauderdale show, showcasing its sea-level aft lounge and triple IPS power.

BGX83 prepares for its first American yacht show

Bluegame will present its 25.6-metre BGX83 to American visitors at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show from 28 October to 1 November 2026. The flagship made its world debut at Düsseldorf earlier this year, so the Florida presentation is a United States introduction rather than a newly announced boat or a vessel still awaiting construction. It marks another step in the Italian company's international marketing programme.

The appearance will allow potential buyers to examine the distinctive crossover layout in person. BGX83 places significant living space near the water and combines the proportions of a comparatively low-profile motor yacht with accommodation often associated with larger vessels. Visitors should confirm where the model will be shown and whether boarding requires an appointment through Bluegame's American representatives.

The flagship at the top of the BGX family

Bluegame developed BGX83 as the largest yacht in a crossover line that already includes BGX63 and BGX73. Official specifications give an overall length of 25.60 metres, beam of 6.30 metres and a full-load draft of around 1.80 metres. The published certified hull length is slightly shorter than overall length, a distinction that can matter in interpreting berth limits and certain regulatory requirements.

The yacht's fibreglass hull and superstructure are intended for planing performance. Bluegame states a full-load displacement of approximately seventy-two tonnes, subject to the usual tolerance for equipment and load. Those figures describe the standard model rather than guaranteeing that a particular yacht weighs the same after customer options and stores have been added.

A sea-level saloon and extended stern area

The yacht's best-known design feature is a lower aft saloon that links directly to a generous exterior lounge close to the water. A hydraulic swim platform supports activities at anchor, while a movable section of the starboard side opens the area further when conditions allow. The layout is intended to make entering the water and returning aboard a central part of the leisure experience.

Sea-level living spaces must still be used with attention to weather, vessel movement and machinery safety. A potential owner should inspect the operation of the platform, the arrangements for crew supervision and the position of safety barriers. The benefit of a wide open aft deck depends on how the yacht is actually used, including tender handling and circulation during busy periods aboard.

Four cabins with an owner-focused arrangement

Bluegame presents the flagship with four comfortable guest cabins, including a full-beam owner's suite, accommodating up to eight people overnight in its principal configuration. The builder also shows alternative three-cabin and four-cabin arrangements for customers with different preferences. This flexibility uses the available interior volume to provide privacy without requiring a much longer hull.

Interior styling was developed by Lissoni & Partners, with an emphasis on light, calm finishes and connections between inside and outside. The asymmetrical main-deck arrangement seeks to allocate more usable space to guest accommodation and shared seating. Customers examining the boat in Fort Lauderdale should confirm the precise layout and furnishings installed aboard the display yacht rather than assume they match every brochure image.

Specialists behind the crossover concept

The overall concept is credited to Luca Santella, with exterior styling by Zuccon International Project, interiors by Lissoni & Partners and hull design by naval architect Louis T. Codega. The collaboration brings different disciplines into a compact vessel with ambitious living areas, while retaining the running characteristics required of a relatively fast motor yacht.

Bluegame positions the flybridge helm under a hardtop, allowing the main deck to be used more extensively for guests. This creates a different relationship between the wheelhouse and living spaces than in a conventional enclosed-bridge yacht. Prospective owners should check visibility, weather protection and access to navigation equipment, especially if planning passages beyond sheltered Mediterranean or Florida coastal waters.

Three engines and quoted cruising figures

BGX83 uses three Volvo Penta D13 engines paired with IPS 1200 drives, each producing about nine hundred horsepower. Bluegame lists a maximum speed close to thirty knots and a cruising speed of approximately twenty-eight knots, with tolerances attached to the published test figures. The yacht carries around seven thousand litres of fuel, supporting the requirements of a fast motor-yacht operating profile.

YachtBuyer's October account describes a range around 360 nautical miles when cruising at twenty-five knots. That should not be taken as an unconditional operating radius. Actual endurance will depend on hull condition, passenger and fuel loads, weather, propulsion settings and reserve policy. Owners should ask for builder-backed sea-trial reports for the configuration under consideration before relying on any forecast passage range.

A Bluegame product within the Sanlorenzo group

Bluegame is part of the Sanlorenzo group and has been extending its international reach through a network of dealers and regional representatives. The BGX83's Düsseldorf premiere was followed by further presentations and sea trials, giving customers opportunities to inspect the completed design. Its planned Florida appearance now brings the same flagship proposition to an important market for private motor-yacht ownership.

The company describes the range in terms of an owner-centred connection with the sea rather than simply maximising enclosed space. BGX83's beach area and lower saloon embody that approach on a larger scale than its siblings. The coming event, however, does not establish that new orders have been signed in the United States or that a particular number of yachts has been sold.

What to examine at Fort Lauderdale

The 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is scheduled for 28 October through 1 November, and the BGX83 is being promoted for its first American appearance. The opportunity to see the boat at full scale should help visitors evaluate deck circulation, water-level access, cabin sizes and the operation of the flybridge helm alongside other yachts on display.

Visitors should check whether the exhibited boat has optional equipment, which warranty and service arrangements apply locally and whether a sea trial can be organised. The accompanying photograph shows an actual BGX83 drawn from official Sanlorenzo material, not an image taken at the Florida show before it has opened. The planned presentation is a regional market debut rather than a claim of a new launch or delivery.
