RISK & REWARD was built by Crescent Custom Yachts in Vancouver in 2004 and is listed as having undergone a refit in 2022. The yacht measures 36.58 metres overall with a 7.8-metre beam and uses a raised-pilothouse arrangement that provides four guest staterooms for up to nine guests.
The current listing details extensive work carried out across 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023, including interior upgrades, navigation equipment, zero-speed stabilisers, machinery servicing and renewed deck equipment. Worth Avenue Yachts describes the yacht as maintained through three ownership periods, with the latest programme covering both technical systems and guest areas rather than a cosmetic update alone.
Jack Sarin is credited with the yacht's design, while Robin Rose developed the original interior. Raised-panel mahogany, stonework and a formal dining area for eight define the main-deck interior, with the accommodation supplemented by a gym and crew quarters arranged for six.
