Cyclades Cup Sets 8–12 June 2027 Dates and Optional Fourth Race Day

The Cyclades Cup has confirmed 8–12 June 2027 for its fourth edition in Antiparos, Greece, with an optional fourth day of racing added to its established programme. Organisers say the change follows requests from owners and provides more room to adjust the schedule when conditions limit time on the water.

A longer window in the Aegean

The event’s main racing programme remains three days, so the additional day is a choice rather than an across-the-board extension of the competition. The organisers say it should give participating yachts another opportunity to race and create flexibility if weather changes the preceding schedule.

Antiparos remains the host location, with racing in the waters around the Cyclades islands. The organising partnership with the Yacht Club of Greece continues, and the event is sanctioned by the Super Yacht Racing Association rather than being simply a social yacht gathering.

A programme shaped around owners and crews

For participating superyachts, the announcement clarifies both the dates and the purpose of the extra day before owners and captains plan their 2027 Mediterranean itineraries. Additional time on the water can matter for yachts that travel considerable distances to attend a relatively compact regatta.

The organisers continue to position shoreside gatherings alongside the competition, with a welcome reception, an owners’ and VIP dinner, and an awards celebration among the planned elements. Those occasions are presented as part of the event rather than as alternatives to the racing programme.

Building on the 2026 fleet

The third edition took place from 10 to 13 June 2026 and brought a mixed fleet of large sailing yachts to Antiparos. Its official results included yachts such as BARONG D, MARI-CHA III and GALMA, illustrating the variety of entries that make handicap management central to the regatta.

The race structure uses the Offshore Racing Congress framework and includes multiple classes to accommodate different yacht designs. For the 2027 edition, the organiser currently describes eligibility for superyachts of approximately 30 metres and above, with detailed registration information still to follow.

What happens before June 2027

Owners, managers and captains can now use the announced 8–12 June window when discussing deliveries, crew planning and Mediterranean cruising schedules. The optional race day is not a promise of four competitive days for every entrant, and the final arrangements remain subject to event instructions and conditions.
