The 73.15m Delta Marine yacht LAUREL is moving into a Caribbean and Bahamas winter charter programme from $525,000 per week plus expenses.

Winter programme moves west

IYC’s current programme moves the 73.15-metre Delta Marine yacht LAUREL from her late-September Mediterranean schedule into the Caribbean and Bahamas from 1 October 2026. The published winter rate is $525,000 per week plus expenses, with Caribbean coverage including Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, the Leeward Islands, the US Virgin Islands and the Windward Islands.

The yacht is also listed for the Bahamas over the same winter period. Rates and destinations remain subject to availability, so the published programme should be treated as the broker’s current charter offer rather than a guarantee of every cruising date.

A 73-metre Delta with long-range capability

Delta Marine records LAUREL at 73.15 metres overall, with steel hull construction and a composite superstructure. The Seattle yard’s own specification gives a 13-knot cruising speed and a range of about 6,000 nautical miles at that speed, supported by twin Caterpillar 3516B HD main engines.

Donald Starkey Design handled the exterior styling, interior space planning and interior design, while Delta Design Group was responsible for naval architecture. The builder describes the yacht as one of the largest custom yachts built in the United States of her era, with efficiency and global operation central to the original brief.

Guest spaces and onboard facilities

IYC lists accommodation for 12 charter guests across seven cabins, with a full-beam master suite and private balconies among the principal features. Elevator access links the guest decks, while the upper levels include extensive exterior entertaining areas, a Jacuzzi and an enclosed gym.

The charter inventory also includes multiple tenders, personal watercraft, SeaBobs, paddleboards, kayaks, diving equipment and other watersports equipment. The yacht carries a large professional crew, reflecting the scale of the guest programme and the service demands of a vessel of this size.

Sale and charter markets overlap

LAUREL is simultaneously offered for sale by IYC at an asking price of $69.5 million, illustrating the way significant yachts can remain commercially active in both brokerage and charter. The sales listing describes the yacht as a 1,595GT vessel and highlights the same Delta pedigree and Donald Starkey design authorship.

For the coming winter, the immediate operational story is the westward shift in charter geography rather than a new build or refit announcement. Her published Caribbean and Bahamas programme begins as the Mediterranean season closes at the end of September.
