Ferretti Group has introduced an extra year of limited warranty cover for eligible new yachts up to 45m. Official servicing is required, and aluminium and steel yachts are excluded.

Ferretti Group has introduced an additional year of limited warranty cover for eligible new yachts up to 45 metres. Announced on 8 September 2026, the +1 Year Ferretti Quality Promise applies to purchase contracts signed from 1 September 2026 onward and supplements the standard warranty.

Eligibility depends on more than length

The programme extends across the group's brands, but expressly excludes yachts built in aluminium and/or steel. For superyacht buyers, the relevant size band therefore runs from 24 metres up to the stated 45-metre ceiling, with construction material remaining a separate condition of eligibility.

The contract date is also central to the announcement. Ferretti specifies purchase agreements signed from 1 September onward, rather than describing a general extension for every yacht already in service or every delivery taking place this autumn.

Engineering and functional systems

The additional year concentrates on core engineering elements and onboard functional systems. Purely cosmetic issues are excluded, making the extension narrower than an extra year of unrestricted cover for every aspect of the yacht.

Ferretti presents the programme as a supplement to its existing standard warranty. The announcement does not state a single combined warranty duration for every model, so the extra year should be read alongside the terms applying to the individual purchase.

Official servicing is a condition

Activation and continued validity depend on compliance with the programme's procedures. All scheduled checks and maintenance services must be carried out at official Ferretti Group service centres, with mandatory inspections performed by authorised personnel.

That requirement connects the additional protection directly to the yacht's maintenance arrangements. Owners and their management teams will need to account for the stipulated service network when planning scheduled work during the relevant period.

A longer aftersales relationship

Ferretti says the initiative is supported by its investment in engineering, quality control and inspections throughout construction. Global CEO Stassi Anastassov linked the additional protection to the quality of installations, workmanship and engineering solutions in the group's boats.

The group also says owners will continue to have access to its aftersales network in major yachting hubs. The programme extends that relationship beyond the standard warranty period through the scheduled inspections required to maintain the additional cover.
