22.5m Ferretti Yachts 720 Heads to Cannes with Redesigned Layout

Ferretti Yachts will bring the redesigned 720 to the Cannes Yachting Festival from 8 to 13 September 2026, giving the updated 22.5-metre flybridge yacht a Mediterranean show appearance after its international debut earlier in the year. The latest version combines revised exterior styling with changes to glazing, deck arrangements and the helm station.

Ferretti Yachts 720 heads to Cannes

The 720 measures 22.5 metres overall with a 5.60-metre beam and retains the proportions of a large flybridge yacht while introducing a more contemporary profile. Exterior design is by Filippo Salvetti, working with Ferretti Group, while IdeaeItalia developed the interiors.

The redesigned profile uses more extensive glazing and a new hardtop, changing the visual character of the model while increasing the emphasis on natural light. Ferretti Yachts has also revised the relationship between interior and exterior spaces as part of the update.

A revised main-deck arrangement

One of the most visible changes is the sliding glass door separating the cockpit from the main saloon, creating a clearer transition between the two spaces. The main deck also benefits from the yacht's expanded glazing, reinforcing the open character of the redesigned interior.

At the helm, the windscreen no longer has a central pillar, improving forward visibility from the driving position. The dashboard can accommodate up to four 16-inch displays, while Poltrona Frau pilot seats add a further detail to the revised helm arrangement.

Four cabins and a 41-square-metre flybridge

The lower deck is arranged with four guest cabins, including master and VIP suites, providing the accommodation plan for the 22.5-metre model. The layout keeps the principal guest spaces separate from the social areas above while retaining a full-beam approach for the main suites.

Outside, the flybridge extends to about 41 square metres and provides one of the largest open-air areas on board. Together with the cockpit and foredeck spaces, it gives the 720 several distinct outdoor zones within its 22.5-metre overall length.

A different milestone from Düsseldorf

The Cannes appearance is not the redesigned 720's world premiere. Ferretti's earlier 2026 material confirms that the completely redesigned version had already made its world premiere at boot Düsseldorf, making Cannes a subsequent presentation of the updated model rather than a second debut.

That distinction puts the September appearance in its correct context: the 720 arrives in Cannes as an already unveiled model. Its redesigned profile, four-cabin layout, new helm treatment and 41-square-metre flybridge will now be presented to the Mediterranean show audience.
