Lazzara Yachts' first 30.5-metre UHV 100 has been sold to an American owner after its 2026 launch; the buyer's final price is undisclosed.

First UHV 100 changes hands after launch

The first 30.5-metre Lazzara UHV 100 has been sold to an American owner following the model's launch earlier in 2026. The transaction was reported on 20 October and gives the American builder a new ownership milestone for a yacht developed around unusually generous interior volume for its length. The buyer's identity and final consideration have not been disclosed.

The yacht had a last reported asking price of €13,495,000 before the sale. That published figure is a historical listing price rather than evidence of the confidential amount paid by the new owner. In the coming months, the UHV 100 is expected to spend its first season cruising the Mediterranean before relocating to Fort Lauderdale, where she is intended to be based.

An ultra-high-volume approach to a 31m yacht

Lazzara's UHV designation stands for Ultra High Volume. The 30.5-metre yacht has a reported interior volume of 225 gross tonnes, which the builder uses to distinguish the model from narrower or more conventional designs in the same length range. At this size, the wide-beam arrangement can have a marked influence on room dimensions and guest circulation.

The reported beam is approximately 7.39 metres, with a full-load draft of about 1.82 metres. Those measurements matter to an owner considering shallow marinas and popular cruising harbours, where berth width and local depth may limit accessibility more than overall length. A marina's published maximum length is therefore not sufficient to establish that a specific berth is suitable.

Guest arrangement includes a main-deck owner's suite

Accommodation is organised for ten guests in five cabins, including a full-beam owner's suite on the main deck. Four additional guest staterooms sit on the lower deck. Keeping the principal owner's accommodation on the main level is a common feature of larger superyachts, but it is less universal among motor yachts close to 30 metres.

The UHV 100 is arranged to maximise comfort in spaces expected to be used during lengthy stays aboard. The main saloon combines lounging and dining areas, while the upper-deck spaces allow a different setting for privacy or entertaining. The interior was developed by the shipyard's own design team, which also handled the yacht's exterior styling and naval architecture.

Foredeck pool and multiple outside areas

Outdoor facilities include a dip pool on the foredeck and areas for lounging and dining aft. The arrangement reflects the builder's strategy of offering amenities associated with larger yachts without taking the overall length into the 40-metre class. The spaces also allow guests to separate into smaller groups instead of occupying one cockpit throughout the day.

A pool and extensive terraces place additional demands on a yacht's deck layout, stability calculations and the supporting technical systems. Prospective owners of other hulls in the series should request accurate equipment and service requirements rather than assume every design feature is supplied in precisely the same configuration.

Composite construction and Volvo Penta propulsion

The yacht uses an epoxy-composite structure incorporating lightweight core materials. Lazzara describes this approach as a way to balance hull strength and mass while accommodating the volume and equipment requested by owners. Construction material alone does not guarantee lower fuel use, since overall displacement and operating conditions also influence efficiency.

Twin Volvo Penta diesel engines provide propulsion, with public listings indicating a cruising speed close to 12 knots and a maximum speed near 16 knots. These are published specifications rather than independently verified passage data for the buyer's intended operating profile. Range, engine loading and fuel consumption should be confirmed with the shipyard for the completed boat.

Mediterranean debut precedes a Florida homeport

The reported plan for a Mediterranean maiden season followed by a Fort Lauderdale homeport provides a useful indication of how the American owner intends to use the yacht. The Mediterranean offers closely spaced cruising destinations and access to specialist yacht service centres, whereas south Florida is a major base for operations in the United States and the Bahamas.

Any transatlantic relocation will require a specific passage or transportation plan appropriate to the yacht's tankage, condition and crew. The report does not specify whether the move will be made under the yacht's own power or by specialist transport, and it should not be assumed that the builder has confirmed a precise arrival date in Florida.

What the sale means for the model

The sale was reported by SuperYacht Times on 20 October and also appears in YachtBuyer's coverage. Both identify the first UHV 100 and its new American owner; neither establishes the final sale price. Its launch, layout and the earlier official interior imagery have already been reported separately, making this ownership change the new development.

For Lazzara, the transaction marks a practical test of the UHV proposition in service. Over the coming season, attention will shift from sales illustrations and show coverage to the yacht's actual cruising programme, owner experience and maintenance support. These outcomes cannot be inferred from the sale announcement alone.

The model's combination of main-deck owner accommodation, five guest cabins and substantial exterior leisure space offers a distinctive alternative at around 30 metres. Future units will demonstrate whether the design attracts buyers who want a smaller overall footprint without giving up the amenities normally associated with significantly larger yachts.
