Initial FLIBS 2026 fleet directories feature superyachts including SCOUT, ROCK.IT and CARPE DIEM, with a broad brokerage display planned.
The 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is preparing a waterfront collection of established superyachts for 28 October to 1 November. Preliminary directories include 63.7-metre Hakvoort SCOUT, 60-metre Feadship ROCK.IT and 58.2-metre Trinity CARPE DIEM among yachts expected to be available for presentation or broker meetings.
These vessels give buyers very different reference points. SCOUT is associated with a distinctive explorer character, ROCK.IT reflects a modern Feadship approach, and CARPE DIEM comes from an American builder known for substantial motor yachts. Differences in the way each yacht is operated may be as important as the few metres separating their lengths.
Oceanco's approximately 93-metre DRAAK appears in the developing show information following a major rebuild associated with research functions. Its refit and intended Florida appearance have already been reported separately by SYG, so the wider fleet preview should not be mistaken for a second announcement of the same project.
The yacht's presence, if confirmed for the show, will add an example of how an existing very large vessel can be adapted for a different programme. Buyers looking at this scale should consider crew, support and operational infrastructure alongside the public presentation of a yacht.
Preliminary lists also include Trinity-built NO BAD IDEAS and NICOLE EVELYN, Christensen's LADY JOY and Feadship's MYSTIQUE. They represent different construction years, technical equipment and interior expectations, making the event useful for comparing existing yachts rather than only looking at new models.
Published fleet directories often combine fully confirmed exhibitors with yachts marked as expected. Anyone arranging a private inspection should confirm status directly with the representing brokerage before treating a listing as a guaranteed on-site exhibit.
Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show extends across multiple marinas and waterfront facilities. A visitor planning to inspect a large yacht, meet a supplier and see an equipment demonstration could need to travel between sites, with meetings carefully spaced to account for transfers and security checks.
Large superyachts are commonly associated with dedicated deeper-water display areas, while smaller vessels and marine equipment may be concentrated elsewhere. The published show map and current yacht berth allocations are more useful for planning than assuming everything is within a short walk.
At a public boat show, admission does not confer unrestricted access to every yacht. Superyacht owners and their brokers can require appointments and may limit viewings to qualified prospective clients, whose needs should be discussed in advance.
The fleet preview is therefore a useful starting point, not an inventory of completed sales or a record of yachts that have already attended. A buyer should use it to identify possible vessels, arrange a technical visit where appropriate and then conduct normal due diligence.
