Honda Marine is using IBEX 2026 to showcase its latest high-horsepower outboards, refreshed midrange models and Great Loop Challenge project.
Honda Marine is using IBEX 2026 in Tampa to present its current outboard range, including the BF350 V8 and updated BF115, BF140 and BF150 models. The company is also highlighting changes across the BF200, BF225 and BF250 family for builders and installers evaluating new propulsion packages.
The display gives boatbuilders a chance to review Honda’s latest high-horsepower and midrange products together rather than as isolated launches. For yacht tenders and chase boats, the changes are relevant where owners want quieter operation, modern controls and stronger integration with current helm systems.
Honda Marine is also promoting its Great Loop Challenge, a long-distance project powered by Honda outboards that links product durability with a charitable campaign. The company has committed a $10,000 donation to the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation as part of the initiative.
The project gives Honda a real-world platform to demonstrate range, reliability and day-to-day operating demands outside a conventional test environment. Long-duration cruising exposes propulsion systems to repeated starts, varied speeds, weather changes and the practical maintenance needs owners experience over an extended season.
Honda is showing a Portā DARK:30 Velocity installation powered by twin BF350 outboards, giving attendees a complete reference for the company’s current flagship engine in a performance application. The display also allows engineers to discuss rigging, controls and integration directly with the manufacturer’s technical team.
IBEX remains one of the most important North American trade events for boatbuilding equipment, making it a natural venue for manufacturers to meet OEM customers before new model programmes are finalised. Honda’s 2026 presence combines product updates with an operational case study rather than relying only on static engine displays.
