IN THE TIME FRAME OF JUST TWO DAYS, BENETTI LAUNCHES TWO CLASS CATEGORY YACHTS

On Thursday February 6, in Viareggio, Benetti launched BD106, the sixth hull built of the Delfino 95 model, which stands out for its all-Italian styling. A contemporary, refined and elegant yacht, the extensive glazed surfaces create dramatic plays of light that become the decorative features of a timeless design . BD106 has a Cypriot owner, is 29 meters long with a beam of 7 meters, and is built from composite materials. The exteriors are designed by Giorgio M. Cassetta , while the interiors are the work of the Benetti Interior Style Department . The layout of the 4 decks features 5 cabins for the owner and guests, 3 for the crew including the captain’s cabin, a large helm station on the Upper Deck and a second one outdoor on the Sun Deck . On the Main Deck, wood and marble create a warm, elegant setting for the main salon, which is divided into a dining room with a table seating 10 and a living area with a sofa and armchair. Further forward are the galley and the day head amidships, while the owner’s cabin in the bow is furnished with a double bed, a vanity table for her and a spacious double bathroom with a big marble shower in the center. The Lower Deck has 4 double cabins for guests, 2 with double beds and 2 with sliding twin beds, while the bow area is reserved for crew accommodation and can sleep up to 5 in 3 cabins. At a cruising speed of 10 knots, the BD106 has a range of 2,320 nautical miles and is powered by two 1,000 hp Man V8 engines that drive the yacht to a top speed of 14.5 knots. The next day, February 7, also in Viareggio, Benetti launched “Happy me” , the fourteenth Classic Supreme 132 unit, a 40.2-meter displacement yacht owned by a German industrialist. “I’m very grateful for and impressed with the passion and devotion shown by Benetti throughout the construction of this yacht,” said the owner in the margins of the launch ceremony, once again thanking Benetti’s technical staff, engineers, designer and the entire management team. The yacht has spacious exteriors, particularly on the about 100 sq m Sun Deck and the Upper Deck , where a lounge area is joined by a Jacuzzi with a spectacular sea view, located forward of the Pilot House. The exteriors are designed by architect Stefano Righini and the interiors are the work of François Zuretti .
