Northrop & Johnson reports seven yachts inside the Monaco Yacht Show and seven at anchor, alongside the relaunch of Navigator and its Fairport management gathering.

Northrop & Johnson has released a post-show account of its 2026 Monaco Yacht Show operation, reporting seven yachts displayed within the exhibition and seven more at anchor. Its 28 September report describes the collection as spanning yachts offered for sale, charter or both, rather than stating that all were available on the same terms.

The broker also used the four-day Monaco event to host management contacts and relaunch its Navigator magazine. These are company-reported participation figures, not independent totals for the full Monaco Yacht Show or a statement about completed sales.

Two locations for brokerage viewings

The split between in-port yachts and anchored vessels reflects the different access arrangements used during major superyacht exhibitions. An in-show berth gives visitors a direct walk-on viewing opportunity, while an at-anchor yacht typically requires transport and a planned appointment with its broker or captain.

Northrop & Johnson's account does not provide an audited sales conversion figure for the week. Prospective buyers should distinguish a yacht shown for sale from a yacht offered for charter, and confirm the applicable appointment, availability and listing terms for each vessel.

Management conversations ran alongside sales

The firm's programme included a Fairport-branded gathering on Thursday 24 September, drawing yacht-management clients and other marine-industry attendees. Management, crewing, refit support and charter administration are part of the service environment around a large brokerage fleet, even though the show itself is often associated first with newbuilds and sales.

The company's Monaco lounge also served as a meeting point during the exhibition, which ran from 23 to 26 September. That space allowed conversations between owners, captains and service providers to take place away from individual yacht berths, rather than relying on chance dockside encounters.

Navigator relaunch and onboard hospitality

Northrop & Johnson says it marked the relaunch of its Navigator publication during the opening part of show week. The company also reports more than 125 guests at a Friday evening gathering aboard AMICA MEA, with industry partners supporting the event.

The gathering is one measure of the scale of the broker's hospitality operation, but the guest number does not reveal commercial outcomes or future bookings. The company has not used this announcement to disclose a new yacht sale, completed charter contract or construction order.

Monaco moves into the autumn schedule

The 35th Monaco Yacht Show concluded on Saturday 26 September. Its concentration of builders, brokers, designers, captains and specialist suppliers makes the event a setting for appointments that can continue beyond the four show days.

Northrop & Johnson's next public autumn exhibition programme includes the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show from 28 October to 1 November. The company's official 28 September Monaco report is the primary source for its participation and hospitality figures. This article is independently written by Superyacht Guide.
