Osculati has launched a US company in Fort Lauderdale to improve local sales and support for American yacht builders, contractors and marine equipment dealers.
Osculati has established a business presence in Fort Lauderdale under the Osculati USA name, giving the company a direct point of contact in one of North America's most active yachting and refit markets. The location places the marine equipment specialist close to boatbuilders, technical contractors, dealers and managers responsible for keeping yachts operational.
The company is not entering the US market with a new yacht design. Its business is components: the relatively small but often essential items required for deck installation, machinery spaces, maintenance and onboard fittings. Their availability can determine whether a yard completes a project on time.
Osculati was founded in 1958 and says its product catalogue has grown beyond 22,000 marine items. It reports high stock availability at its main facility near Milan, with approximately 97 per cent of catalogue items typically available. That figure describes its central operation rather than a guarantee that every item is stocked locally in Florida.
Purchasing teams must distinguish standard products from items requiring a particular material, rating or dimensional specification. A stainless deck fitting, for example, may look interchangeable with another component but differ in mounting loads, corrosion resistance or installation requirements.
Large yachts frequently visit South Florida for maintenance, sale inspections and pre-season preparation. A local supplier team can make it easier for crews and contractors to discuss specific components before ordering them from an international catalogue.
Technical advice can matter as much as delivery speed. Yards may need installation drawings, compatibility guidance or replacement parts for equipment fitted years earlier. Establishing direct communication can help reduce incorrect orders, even when the physical logistics remain international.
Osculati used the International BoatBuilders' Exhibition and Conference in Tampa, held from 6 to 8 October 2026, to present its US proposition. The show attracts boatbuilding and marine-product companies rather than functioning solely as a consumer exhibition.
Visitors were directed to the Osculati stand and the new US catalogue for meetings with representatives. The wider expansion follows other changes in the company's international sales coverage, including arrangements serving customers in Spain.
The new operation adds another established European manufacturer to a US industry already served by international distributors and domestic specialists. The benefit to yacht customers will be measured by technical responsiveness, order accuracy and dependable fulfilment over time.
The announcement does not specify a new factory in Florida or a particular superyacht contract. Its relevance is the strengthening of sales and support for components that builders and crews depend on but that seldom attract attention until they are urgently required.
