Riva will give the 96’ Argo Super its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026, bringing the new motor yacht into its first major international show setting. The appearance follows the model’s launch and gives Riva a public stage for a yacht that sits just below 29 metres overall while remaining firmly within the superyacht market.

Riva launched the first 96’ Argo Super at its La Spezia shipyard, where the new model was presented as an evolution of the 90’ Argo. The official specification gives an overall length of 28.79 metres and a maximum beam of 6.50 metres, establishing the basic proportions of the new flybridge yacht before its Cannes debut.

A 28.79m Riva moves from launch to world premiere

The Cannes appearance marks a clear change in the project’s status from a newly launched model to one being presented directly to the international market. The difference between the published cruising and maximum figures is relatively narrow, which gives useful context to the yacht’s intended performance envelope. Officina Italiana Design develops the new model

Riva credits the 96’ Argo Super to the collaboration between Officina Italiana Design, the Ferretti Group Strategic Product Committee and Ferretti Group’s Engineering Department. The model retains the Argo name but introduces revised spaces and details intended to strengthen the relationship between the interior, exterior areas and the water.

One of the more significant layout changes is the introduction of a day head on the main deck, freeing space on the lower deck for the guest sleeping area. Riva also offers two salon arrangements on the new model, while the first yacht uses the dining area aft and the lounge forward to reinforce the connection between the cockpit and interior.

The world premiere therefore matters as more than a repeat of the July launch announcement.
