Riva has redrawn its exclusive Italian dealer territories, splitting regional responsibility between long-standing partner Nautica Casarola and Italian Yacht Store.

Riva has reorganised its sales representation across Italy, assigning exclusive regional territories to Nautica Casarola and Italian Yacht Store. The change expands Italian Yacht Store’s relationship with Ferretti Group while retaining a major role for Casarola, a dealer that is marking 63 years in business in 2026.

Two partners divide the Italian market

Nautica Casarola will remain the exclusive Riva dealer across Valle d’Aosta, Piedmont, Liguria, Lombardy, Tuscany, Lazio and Sardinia. Its territory also includes selected provinces in Veneto, Trentino-Alto Adige and Emilia-Romagna, maintaining a substantial presence in northern and central Italy.

Italian Yacht Store takes responsibility for a broad eastern and southern territory including Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Marche, Abruzzo, Umbria, Molise, Puglia, Calabria, Campania, Basilicata and Sicily. It also gains selected provinces in Veneto, Trentino-Alto Adige and Emilia-Romagna under the revised structure.

Casarola reaches 63 years

Riva highlights Nautica Casarola’s 63-year history as part of the rationale for retaining a large exclusive territory with the company. That long relationship provides continuity for existing owners while the geographical split gives each dealer a defined area of responsibility.

The change is therefore not a replacement of one national representative with another. It is a regional reallocation intended to combine established client relationships with a broader Ferretti Group retail structure across the Italian market.

Italian Yacht Store expands its Ferretti role

Italian Yacht Store already represents Ferretti Yachts, Pershing, Itama and Custom Line in Italy and San Marino. Adding Riva in the specified territories extends an existing Ferretti Group relationship rather than creating a new dealer organisation from scratch.

For clients, the practical effect is a clearer regional route for sales contact and product support. Riva’s current range spans smaller open yachts through flybridge models and the Superyachts Division, so the network has to accommodate owners with markedly different yacht sizes and service expectations.

A commercial network change, not a product launch

The announcement concerns sales territories and customer representation rather than a change to Riva’s model range or production organisation. Riva continues to operate within Ferretti Group, and the brand has not linked the dealer reshuffle to any factory closure, product cancellation or ownership change.

Superyacht Guide is reporting the arrangement because dealer structure affects how large-yacht clients access new-build discussions, brokerage relationships and after-sales support. Owners should confirm the representative for a specific location directly with Riva, particularly where provincial boundaries define the new territories.
