Sea Eagle and Athos win prestigious awards at the “International Superyacht Society Awards of Distinction” gala: “Best Sail above 500GT” and “Best Refit”.

The 81m / 266ft contemporary flybridge schooner, Sea Eagle was delivered by Royal Huisman in 2020. She is a true sailing yacht and one of the world’s 10 largest sailing yachts. The 62m / 203ft classic schooner was converted – outside and inside – and optimized by Huisfit at her birthplace in Amsterdam.

Both awards were handed out and bestowed by industry peers during the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. The team of Royal Huisman and Huisfit considers it a great honor to receive this acknowledgement from such a distinguished committee.

Note the judges’ comments about why Sea Eagle is a winner: “Beautiful schooner from Royal Huisman – a credit to the yard, designer and owner. Emphasizing practicality, comfort, safety, stability, and performance, it impeccably fulfills these criteria. She has clean open desks, modern and sleek lines and good sea keeping abilities.”
