Sirena Yachts has brought its new Sirena 118 to Cannes Yachting Festival 2026 for its world debut, moving the Turkish builder further into the larger-yacht market with a 36-metre composite flagship. The yacht arrives in Cannes after launch and commissioning, giving owners, brokers and professional advisers their first opportunity to inspect the completed model in an international show environment.

The Sirena 118 sits above the builder's established production range and represents a significant increase in scale for the brand. Sirena's current technical specification lists an overall length of 36 metres, a 34-metre hull length, a 7.9-metre beam and 265 GT, combining the company's familiar plumb-bow design language with the volume and operating requirements of a tri-deck superyacht.

Germán Frers develops the fast-displacement platform

Naval architecture is by Germán Frers, while Sirena's in-house team developed the exterior styling. The all-GRP yacht uses a fast-displacement hull form developed through CFD analysis, with the geometry shaped to improve efficient cruising in displacement mode while reducing turbulence, controlling fuel consumption and preserving the seakeeping expected from a yacht intended for long-range use.

The current Sirena 118 specification lists twin MAN V12 engines rated at 1,550 hp each, with an optional pair of 1,900 hp units. Sirena publishes a cruising speed of 15 knots, a maximum speed of 18 knots and a 21-knot maximum with the optional engines, giving owners a higher-output alternative without changing the yacht's underlying fast-displacement cruising philosophy.

Cor D. Rover shapes a flexible owner-focused interior

The interior design concept is by Cor D. Rover, with Sirena Marine's own interior design team developing the finished yacht around the owner's preferences. Accommodation is arranged for 12 guests in a five-plus-one cabin configuration, with extensive glazing and flexible living spaces intended to preserve the brand's emphasis on natural light as the platform moves into the 36-metre category.

The owner receives one of the yacht's most distinctive features: a private two-level environment linking the main-deck stateroom with a lower-level study and lounge that opens directly towards the sea. The arrangement creates an owner's zone with greater separation from the main guest circulation while also giving the suite a direct relationship with the water.

265 GT supports substantial volume at 36 metres

At 265 GT, the Sirena 118 is designed to deliver significant internal and external volume while remaining within a 36-metre overall length. Folding aft balconies extend the main-deck exterior area when the yacht is at anchor, while a hydraulic platform serves both as a waterside terrace and as a practical launch point for the tender and water toys.

The upper deck and sun deck continue the emphasis on flexible exterior living, with spaces intended to shift between dining, relaxation and entertainment rather than being tied to a single function. Large windows, long sightlines and connected outdoor zones carry familiar Sirena design themes into the larger platform while the tri-deck arrangement provides the separation required for guest, crew and technical circulation.

The flagship moves Sirena further into the superyacht market

The move to 36 metres places Sirena in a market where owners can choose among fast-displacement, semi-displacement and crossover yachts from a growing number of international builders. Rather than relying on outright speed, the 118 combines moderate-speed efficiency, substantial volume, a flexible accommodation plan and a highly developed owner area to create a cruising proposition built around time aboard and longer passages.

The technical specification also reflects the operating demands of the larger platform. Sirena lists accommodation for five crew in three cabins, and the wider machinery, service and circulation arrangement marks a clear step up from the builder's smaller production yachts even where the exterior design retains recognisable family characteristics.

The Cannes appearance follows the yacht's launch and final commissioning and gives the wider market its first opportunity to assess the completed flagship. Sirena's official launch announcement identifies the festival as the Sirena 118's world and public debut, placing the yacht among the significant new-model introductions arriving on the French Riviera at the start of the European autumn show season.

For Sirena Yachts, the debut is also a statement about the direction of the brand. The combination of Germán Frers naval architecture, Cor D.
