Sunseeker Reveals New 45M Superyacht With First Customer LOI

A new 45-metre platform

Sunseeker has revealed the first images of its all-new 45M Superyacht, describing the design as the next stage of its return to larger yacht construction. The British builder also confirmed that a longstanding customer has signed a Letter of Intent for the new platform.

The yacht uses a new semi-displacement hull intended to combine long-range cruising, comfort and operational efficiency with the performance associated with the Sunseeker brand. At approximately 440GT, the project is designed to provide substantial internal volume while retaining a strong connection between exterior guest areas and the sea.

Flexible accommodation and guest spaces

The standard arrangement provides five guest staterooms, with an option for a sixth, while dedicated crew accommodation is planned for up to nine. Sunseeker highlights an architectural aft deck conceived as an ocean lounge and an upper-deck sky lounge that can be configured around an owner’s preferred use of the yacht.

A transverse tender garage is designed to carry a tender together with two personal watercraft. Moving this equipment away from the principal exterior guest areas is intended to preserve usable leisure space while maintaining straightforward access to watersports equipment.

Sunseeker expands its superyacht programme

The 45M follows Sunseeker’s return to superyacht production with the 134 Superyacht and gives the yard another platform above 40 metres. The signed Letter of Intent provides an early commercial indication of interest before the new design reaches construction.

The project also broadens the builder’s larger-yacht offering with a platform intended to allow extensive interior personalisation. Sunseeker says the design has been developed around owner experience, flexible living spaces and a new generation of naval architecture.
