The Taiwan International Boat Show will take place on 13–15 November across four Kaohsiung marinas, showcasing yacht builders and marine equipment suppliers.
The 2026 Taiwan International Boat Show is scheduled for 13–15 November in Kaohsiung, with organisers using Horizon City Marina, KhaShing Pier 22 Marina, Argo Marina and Basin No. 3 for yacht and marine-industry activities. The programme is designed to bring international buyers closer to the shipbuilders and specialist suppliers based in the region.
Kaohsiung is a significant centre for Taiwanese luxury-yacht manufacturing, serving a global market rather than simply local recreational boating. The presence of several yachtbuilding businesses and their supply chains distinguishes the event from a show aimed only at selling smaller weekend boats.
Taiwanese yards have built motor yachts above 24 metres for international owners for many years, supported by local fabrication, interiors, propulsion installation and specialised equipment businesses. An exhibition in the manufacturing region can allow buyers to discuss projects and visit companies involved in construction.
For brokers and management firms, the advantage may lie in comparing technical approaches and developing contacts with local builders. It is not necessary for every vessel displayed at the event to qualify as a superyacht for the show to have meaningful connections to the large-yacht market.
Rather than one enclosed exhibition hall, the show uses multiple waterfront locations. Visitors hoping to inspect a specific yacht or meet an equipment manufacturer will need to check which venue hosts the relevant exhibitor and how access is managed.
Organisers identify land displays that are open to the public and marina sections with entry conditions for trade visitors, press and invited guests. Yacht boarding is controlled by the individual exhibitor and may require an appointment rather than being included with general site access.
The official schedule lists opening from 10:00 to 17:00 on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 November, with closing at 16:30 on Sunday 15 November. Those are the advertised visitor hours, and delegates should confirm any changes before travel.
For visiting owners or technical representatives, advance contact can make the difference between a general look at a yacht and a meaningful discussion about its engineering, accommodation and build programme.
Export-oriented superyacht construction depends on the confidence of customers who may be based far from the builder. Owners need to understand how a yard handles warranty work, documentation and after-sales support as well as the original design specification.
The Taiwan International Boat Show provides a setting for those conversations and for contact with marine suppliers. Its success will depend on the quality of trade participation and the connections it creates, not merely the number of visitors passing through the exhibition.
