Tankoa Marks Construction Milestone on 61m Project Dream

Coin ceremony moves Project Dream into its next build phase

Tankoa Yachts has held the coin ceremony for the 61-metre full-custom Project Dream at its Civitavecchia facility. The yacht was sold in summer 2025 and is scheduled for delivery to her owner in early 2029.

Exterior design is by Horacio Bozzo Design, while Axis Group Yacht Design is responsible for naval architecture and engineering. Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design was selected by the owner for the interiors, giving the project three specialist design and technical teams working around a single custom brief.

61-metre platform is intended to feel substantially larger

Tankoa says Project Dream has been designed to provide the volume and presence of a larger yacht while preserving the versatility of a vessel close to 60 metres. The arrangement focuses on generous exterior spaces and a close connection between guest areas and the sea.

Large beach areas and dedicated wellness spaces form part of the owner’s lifestyle brief. Social areas have also been developed around the way the yacht will be used rather than simply following a standard deck-by-deck arrangement.

Civitavecchia yard continues toward 2029 handover

The coin ceremony is a traditional construction milestone and marks the continuation of physical build work at Tankoa’s Civitavecchia facility. Engineering and production will now progress through the next structural and outfitting stages before systems commissioning and sea trials.

Project Dream adds another large full-custom project to Tankoa’s orderbook. Alongside the yard’s semi-custom platforms, it illustrates the company’s effort to grow its presence in individually commissioned yachts where owner requirements define the project from the outset.
