TWW Yachts confirms the sale of 37.8m Feadship MONACO, representing the seller, with TYS Management credited for introducing the buyer.

Feadship brokerage transaction concludes

TWW Yachts has confirmed the successful sale of the 37.8-metre Feadship motor yacht MONACO. Its announcement, dated 9 October 2026, states that the brokerage represented the seller and credits Freddy Riot of TYS Management with introducing the buyer.

The transaction concerns an existing Dutch-built custom yacht, not a newly launched vessel. TWW has not disclosed the purchaser's identity, the final price or the new owner's intended programme, so those details cannot responsibly be inferred from an earlier asking price.

In a large-yacht deal, the introduction of a buyer is one important element of a wider sequence of inspections, negotiations, documentation and transfer arrangements. Recognising both the selling representative and the introducing broker helps explain the division of roles.

Why international brokerage relationships matter

Superyacht transactions often involve people working in different countries, each with specialist responsibilities. A seller's broker must provide accurate descriptions and coordinate access to the vessel, while a prospective purchaser needs appropriate technical and legal advice before proceeding.

TWW explicitly acknowledges TYS Management rather than treating the deal as an entirely internal introduction. The statement illustrates the cooperation that can help match a particular custom yacht with a limited pool of suitable purchasers.

The process is more complicated than a transfer of a sales brochure. Survey findings, documented repairs, ownership paperwork and the ability to complete the agreed handover can all affect whether negotiations result in a completed transaction.

What makes this length of yacht distinctive

At 37.8 metres, MONACO is large enough to provide guest and crew separation while remaining well below the scale of an 80-metre custom yacht. That difference can matter in the choice of marina berths, crew planning, maintenance arrangements and the operating cost of an extended voyage.

An existing Feadship can appeal to buyers interested in established custom construction and the prospect of refining a vessel through selective refit work. The balance of benefits depends on its individual maintenance history and technical condition, not simply the reputation of its builder.

Yachts from bespoke builders can change significantly during their lives as navigation equipment, accommodation and machinery are updated. Current records and a detailed inspection are consequently more useful to a buyer than assumptions made from photographs of an earlier cruising season.

Details that have not been announced

TWW's statement establishes that MONACO has been sold and identifies the roles of the two named businesses. It does not say whether the yacht will move to another home port, join a charter programme or enter a refit yard under the new owner.

The photograph accompanying this article is the brokerage's actual image of MONACO, rather than a picture of an unrelated Feadship yacht. Describing imagery accurately is important when several vessels may carry similar names or have undergone changes of identity.

This October sale adds another confirmed transaction to the existing custom-yacht market. The financial terms and subsequent plans remain private, and any future changes should be reported when the owner or an authorised representative releases verified information.
