Windy Boats has completed its 2026 Monaco Yacht Show programme after presenting the SR60 and SR40 to the international superyacht market. The Norwegian brand used three locations across the show and worked with Olympic Marine and Espen Oeino Sales as it develops its position in the bespoke yacht-tender and chase-boat sector.
Windy attended Monaco with its main stand at QA4, the SR60 at C24 BIS and the SR40 at A05. Spreading the display across the show gave visitors the opportunity to discuss the broader range at the stand while also seeing two representative models afloat in the harbour.
The company says the week generated business meetings, conversations with new clients and opportunities for follow-up after the show. For specialist tender builders, Monaco is particularly valuable because many purchasing decisions are connected directly to large-yacht new-build and refit programmes represented elsewhere in Port Hercule.
The SR60 gives Windy a sizeable platform for owners seeking a fast chase boat or substantial tender capable of operating independently from the mothership. Its role is different from a compact garage tender because range, guest comfort and offshore capability become more important as the support boat grows.
Large chase boats increasingly function as extensions of the parent yacht, carrying guests, equipment and crew while also supporting watersports and shore access. That creates demand for higher finish quality and stronger design integration because the tender is often visible alongside the superyacht rather than disappearing into an enclosed garage.
The SR40 provides a smaller alternative within Windy’s SR family and was shown separately in Monaco alongside the larger SR60. Windy positions the range around Scandinavian design, performance and the ability to adapt boats for use as yacht tenders or owner-operated chase boats.
For builders and owner teams, the decision between a compact tender and a larger chase boat depends on garage dimensions, crane capacity, operating range and the owner’s intended use. Presenting both sizes at Monaco helps Windy address projects where those constraints differ substantially.
Windy worked at the show with Olympic Marine and Espen Oeino Sales, reflecting the importance of specialist representation when supplying bespoke boats into the superyacht sector. Tender projects often involve close coordination between the owner, yacht designer, shipyard, captain and equipment suppliers long before the support boat is delivered.
The Monaco appearance therefore served as both a product display and a project-development opportunity. Windy left the event pointing to new discussions still to be continued, suggesting the commercial value of the show will be measured in follow-up work rather than only activity during the four days in Monaco.
