YCCS Superyacht Regatta Sets 25–29 May 2027 Porto Cervo Dates

Yacht Club Costa Smeralda has listed 25–29 May 2027 for the YCCS Superyacht Regatta in Porto Cervo. The dates place its dedicated large-yacht fixture in late spring, providing an early planning reference for owners, managers and racing crews preparing a Mediterranean programme.

Five days reserved for Porto Cervo

The official 2027 event page gives the Porto Cervo venue and the five-day date window, but it does not yet publish a detailed programme or an entry list. The initial announcement should therefore be read as calendar confirmation, not as a claim that invitations, class divisions or final race instructions have already been settled.

For sailing yachts travelling across the Mediterranean, a confirmed late-May fixture is relevant to delivery schedules, pre-season preparation and movements between regattas. The event is listed by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda under its own Superyacht Regatta name for 2027.

Porto Cervo and the neighbouring waters of the La Maddalena Archipelago provide the backdrop for the club’s larger sailing events. What the preceding edition showed

The 2026 Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta ran from 26 to 30 May and brought 17 superyachts to the same venue. In that edition, Moat and Liberty Squared won the Blue and White divisions respectively, according to the club’s final report.

Those 2026 results illustrate the established level of large-yacht competition, but do not establish the entry list or sponsors for 2027. Yacht names and partner identities for the forthcoming event should be checked against the new notice of race when it is available.

Planning ahead for the 2027 season

The five-day window gives owners and captains a starting point to discuss yacht readiness, crew travel and the logistics of a possible race programme. Details of eligibility, class splits, registration and shore events remain to be confirmed through the official club channels.
