Northrop & Johnson has reduced the 33.25-metre Sovereign motor yacht MARBELLA IV by $100,000 to an asking price of $3.195 million.
Northrop & Johnson has announced a $100,000 price reduction on the 33.25-metre Sovereign motor yacht MARBELLA IV, bringing her asking price to $3.195 million. The 2001-built yacht is listed with broker Whit Kirtland following a substantial programme of technical and interior investment completed during 2026.
The yacht underwent a 10-month refit valued at about $2.2 million, with roughly $1.6 million directed toward mechanical, electrical, electronics, plumbing, hydraulic and exterior work. A further $593,000 was invested in the interior, giving buyers a clearer picture of the level of recent expenditure behind the new asking price.
Among the major upgrades was a new 20-ton Dometic reverse-cycle air-conditioning system supported by 21 new or rebuilt air handlers. Navigation, radar and communications equipment were also updated with new Garmin and FLIR systems, while the latest work builds on an earlier mechanical refit that introduced Caterpillar C-18 ACERT main engines, generators and Atlas power-management equipment.
Stabilisation and manoeuvring equipment includes Naiad fin stabilisers, a triple Seakeeper installation and ABT bow and stern thrusters. That combination is intended to improve comfort both underway and at anchor while giving the yacht additional control in marinas and confined operating areas.
MARBELLA IV accommodates eight guests in four en-suite staterooms, with the full-beam master suite positioned on deck. Exterior work included new flybridge teak and upholstery, while the upper deck is arranged with a five-person jacuzzi, gas firepit, barbecue station and a custom passenger lift connecting to the aft deck.
At water level, a hydraulic swim platform provides tender and sea access, with a 2015 Aquascan tender carried onboard. The revised asking price now places MARBELLA IV against other refitted yachts in the low-30-metre market where documented technical renewal can be as important as age when buyers compare value and future ownership costs.
