Fraser has completed the sale of the 42m Sterling motor yacht MAVERICK, with Joaquin Genrich involved on both sides of the transaction.

Fraser has announced the sale of the 42-metre Sterling Yachts motor yacht MAVERICK, with Joaquin Genrich of Fraser Yachts San Diego co-representing the seller and representing the buyer. The brokerage did not disclose the final transaction price, but the sale adds another 40-metre-plus yacht to the early autumn brokerage market as owners and buyers reposition ahead of the Fort Lauderdale season.

MAVERICK combines a four-cabin layout with substantial guest spaces

The Sterling-built motor yacht accommodates up to eight guests in four staterooms, with a full-beam owner’s stateroom positioned on the main deck. Fraser highlights the arrangement as a private retreat that sits apart from the remaining guest accommodation.

Her principal social areas include a spacious main salon and sky lounge, giving the yacht separate interior spaces for formal and informal use. Expansive exterior decks add alfresco dining and relaxation areas designed around longer periods aboard.

The transaction involved Fraser on both sides

Fraser says Joaquin Genrich co-represented the seller while also representing the buyer in the transaction. Dual involvement of this kind places particular emphasis on clear brokerage process and representation as both sides move through survey, documentation and closing.

The company has not published the identity of the new owner or the sale price. That is common in the large-yacht market, where transaction details beyond broker participation and the yacht itself are frequently kept private.

A 42-metre sale adds to the active autumn market

Sales activity around the 40-metre segment remains an important indicator because yachts at this scale combine genuine superyacht volume with a broader buyer pool than the largest 70-metre-plus vessels. They can also move between private and charter use depending on specification and commercial coding.

MAVERICK’s four-stateroom arrangement positions her toward owners prioritising generous social spaces over maximum guest-cabin count. That configuration can appeal to buyers seeking private family use while retaining enough accommodation for guests and extended cruising.

The next phase shifts from brokerage to ownership

With the transaction complete, the yacht moves into a new ownership cycle in which maintenance planning, crewing and any future refit decisions become the immediate priorities. Fraser’s announcement offers no indication of planned changes, destination or charter intentions.

For the brokerage market, the relevant fact is the completed sale itself. It provides another confirmed transaction rather than an asking-price change or new listing, helping distinguish actual buyer activity from the much larger volume of yachts advertised for sale.
