Fraser has added 43m Mangusta Oceano 43 TOY to its sales fleet, highlighting a 4,000nm range and five completed transatlantic crossings.
Fraser has added the 43-metre motor yacht TOY to its sales fleet, bringing a 2021 Mangusta Oceano 43 with demonstrated long-range cruising experience onto the market. The yacht was built by Overmarine with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure and has completed five transatlantic crossings on her own bottom.
That operating record gives the listing a different emphasis from many contemporary 40-metre-plus yachts offered primarily around accommodation and lifestyle features. Fraser states that TOY has a range of 4,000 nautical miles at 11 knots, giving the yacht the endurance for genuine ocean passages as well as Mediterranean and Caribbean cruising programmes.
The Oceano 43 sits on the displacement side of the Mangusta portfolio, combining the Italian builder’s design language with the range and volume expected from a steel-hulled cruising yacht. For TOY, the five completed Atlantic crossings provide a useful real-world indication that the yacht has been operated beyond short coastal itineraries.
Fraser’s sales announcement does not simply position the yacht around speed. Instead, the 4,000-nautical-mile range at 11 knots and transatlantic history place passage-making capability alongside the amenities that normally drive buyer interest in this size bracket.
TOY accommodates 10 guests in five staterooms, with capacity for as many as 12 when two Pullman berths are used. The full-beam owner’s stateroom includes a private hydraulic side balcony, creating a direct opening to the sea without requiring guests to move to one of the yacht’s exterior decks.
Outdoor features include a foredeck infinity pool, an expansive sundeck and a beach club at water level. Underway and zero-speed stabilisers are fitted to improve comfort both while cruising and at anchor, an important consideration for a yacht intended to move between long passages and extended stays in cruising grounds.
The new central-agency listing is being handled by Fraser broker Alain Auvare. Fraser describes the yacht as combining ocean-going capability, contemporary Italian design and charter potential, although any prospective buyer will still need to assess condition, class and survey status, operating history and the commercial implications of their intended programme.
For the wider brokerage market, TOY adds another relatively recent 40-metre-plus displacement yacht to current inventory at a time when buyers can compare newer semi-custom platforms with older custom yachts at similar lengths. Her five Atlantic crossings and published range give prospective buyers concrete operating history to consider alongside layout, condition and price negotiations.
