Denison Yachting will present the 49.9-metre Rossinavi FLYING DAGGER III at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival, giving prospective buyers an opportunity to inspect the full-custom performance yacht while she remains on the market at €23.5 million. The brokerage confirmed on 25 August that the 2018-built yacht will join its Cannes display from 8 to 13 September as a current Denison central listing.
Built entirely in aluminium by Rossinavi in Viareggio, FLYING DAGGER III was developed around substantially higher speeds than are typical for a yacht approaching 50 metres. Denison lists a 31-knot maximum speed, 24-knot cruising speed, 495GT of internal volume and accommodation for 10 guests in five cabins.
FLYING DAGGER III is powered by three MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines, each rated at 2,600hp, driving three Kamewa S-4 waterjets. Denison lists a maximum speed of 31 knots and a cruising speed of 24 knots, placing her performance well beyond that of most conventional full-displacement yachts of similar length.
The propulsion arrangement also allows useful long-distance capability when the yacht is operated at lower speed, with Denison stating a range of approximately 3,300 nautical miles at 12 knots. Her maximum draft of about 2.18 metres is comparatively shallow for a yacht of this size and reflects the waterjet-driven configuration around which the performance brief was developed.
Enrico Gobbi of Team for Design created the exterior styling, while Lazzarini Pickering Architetti designed the interior and Arrabito Naval Architects developed the naval architecture. The low profile, raked mast and extensive glazing reinforce the yacht's performance-led character without reducing the accommodation programme expected from a full-custom 50-metre yacht.
Within 495GT, FLYING DAGGER III accommodates 10 guests in five cabins, including a forward main-deck owner's suite with a recessed private balcony. Four further guest cabins are located on the lower deck, while five additional cabins provide accommodation for 10 crew and support the service structure required for extended private or charter-style operation.
Denison's current listing records approximately 1,700 hours on the main engines and details a broad maintenance programme extending through 2024, 2025 and 2026. Recent work includes MTU engine servicing and inspections, Kamewa waterjet maintenance, generator servicing, gyro-stabiliser work, antifouling, exterior paint touch-ups and RINA and Cayman flag annual surveys.
The programme also covers ancillary systems, tender and water-toy servicing, air-conditioning maintenance, tanks, pumps, cranes, gangways and electrical systems. For a high-performance yacht using three main engines and three waterjets, the documented focus on propulsion and supporting machinery is especially relevant to buyers evaluating operating condition as well as styling and speed.
FLYING DAGGER III is currently lying in Olbia, Italy, and Denison lists her at €23.5 million. Her appearance at Cannes will move the sales campaign into one of Europe's most concentrated brokerage environments, with the festival's pre-owned and brokerage fleet displayed at Port Canto from 8 to 13 September.
The yacht's combination of 31-knot performance, aluminium construction, 495GT volume and recent technical work gives Denison a proposition that differs markedly from the displacement yachts dominating much of the 50-metre brokerage market. Cannes will give buyers the opportunity to assess that performance-led approach in person while FLYING DAGGER III remains actively offered for sale.
