50m Trinity CHAMPAGNE SEAS Listed at $15.9m After 2026 Refit

The 49.99-metre CHAMPAGNE SEAS has returned to the brokerage market through Hargrave Custom Yachts at an asking price of $15.9 million. The aluminium Trinity motor yacht was delivered in 2012 and is being presented after a sequence of refit programmes that continued through early 2026.

Hargrave's current listing records exterior design by Geoff Van Aller and interiors by J.C. Espinosa and Ramon Alonso, with accommodation for 12 guests in six staterooms. The yacht is lying in Monaco, placing her directly in one of the most active brokerage markets during the September superyacht season.

The refit history extends well beyond cosmetics

CHAMPAGNE SEAS completed a major refit in 2022, followed by further interior work in Fort Lauderdale during 2024 and 2025 and another major yard period at Atlas Shipyards in Greece from October 2025 to February 2026. Hargrave lists new flooring and wall panels, updated audiovisual systems, revised navigation electronics, LED lighting and work to the Jacuzzi among the recent changes.

Technical updates include a new planned-maintenance system in 2026, two new chillers and continued work on machinery and onboard systems, while the main engines were overhauled in 2021 and a new generator was installed in 2022. A new beach-club arrangement was added during 2025, giving the refit programme a visible guest-facing component as well as an engineering one.

Six cabins put guest capacity at the commercial limit

The accommodation is arranged for 12 guests, including a full-beam main-deck owner's suite with large vertical windows and an elevated sleeping area. A VIP suite and four additional guest cabins complete the layout, while the yacht also carries the crew needed to operate a 499GT vessel on extended programmes.

Twin Caterpillar 3516C engines provide the propulsion, with the current specification quoting a maximum speed of 23 knots and a conventional cruising speed around 12 knots. The sale package also includes a 2022 Axopar 37 XC towed tender, which adds a substantial separate platform for guest transfers and day use.

Recent survey status strengthens the brokerage file

The listing states that the annual class survey was completed in August 2026 with no deficiencies and that a Port State Control inspection in Italy was also completed without deficiencies. Those statements do not replace a buyer's own technical survey, but they provide recent documentary milestones for a yacht whose refit history will be a central part of due diligence.

At $15.9 million, CHAMPAGNE SEAS enters a market where buyers can compare older aluminium yachts with extensive recent investment against newer vessels carrying less refit history but much higher acquisition prices. The eventual transaction will therefore be useful evidence of how the market values major refit expenditure, current class status and a proven 50-metre platform.
