IYC has confirmed the sale of the 67.5m ICON-built superyacht Loon, with Monaco managing partner Kevin Bonnie representing the seller. The sale price was not disclosed.

IYC confirms a completed sale

IYC announced on 18 September 2026 that the ICON-built superyacht Loon has been sold, with Kevin Bonnie, the brokerage's Monaco managing partner, representing the seller. The announcement congratulates the new owner but does not disclose the final transaction price, so the sale should not be confused with any previously advertised asking figure.

The yacht is generally described as 68 metres in the announcement, while IYC's detailed charter specification gives a length of 67.5 metres. The vessel was delivered by ICON Yachts in 2010 and has subsequently undergone major refit work, including a hull extension that changed the arrangement of her aft decks.

Extended stern and long-range configuration

According to IYC, a five-metre extension carried out in 2014 created additional aft-deck space and an infinity-edge pool. The design is credited to Redman Whiteley Dixon, while the broker highlights a beach club, gym and sauna among the yacht's extensive onboard facilities.

IYC quotes a 6,000-nautical-mile range and a seven-cabin arrangement for up to 12 guests, including a two-level owner's suite. Such published operating figures describe the brokerage's specification and are not an independent verification of range under every loading or sea condition.

What the transaction establishes

The 18 September statement establishes that ownership has changed, rather than merely recording a listing or a price adjustment. IYC names its own seller representative but does not provide a full breakdown of all parties to the deal or the undisclosed purchase price.

Loon has been active in the charter market, although a completed sale does not by itself establish the new owner's future charter arrangements. Any subsequent programme or change in availability will need confirmation from the owner or appointed charter manager before being reported as settled.
