Amels 80 PANGEA Makes First Yacht-Show Appearance in Monaco

First Amels 80 reaches a yacht show

Damen Yachting is presenting PANGEA at the Monaco Yacht Show, marking the first time an Amels 80 has appeared at a yacht show. The 80-metre yacht is berthed at E14 from 23 to 26 September as the largest member of the yard’s three-yacht Amels line-up.

PANGEA was delivered in October 2025 as the first yacht from the Amels 80 Limited Editions platform. Exterior design is by Espen Øino International, while Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design developed the interior, giving the series a defined technical platform with a highly customised owner environment.

517m² Owner’s Deck sets the accommodation strategy

The yacht accommodates 14 guests across seven suites, including a dedicated Owner’s Deck measuring 517 square metres. Six additional guest cabins are located on the Main Deck, separating the owner’s private level from the main guest accommodation and social areas.

The arrangement is one of the clearest differences between the Amels 80 and smaller models in the range. Rather than simply scaling up an existing layout, the platform uses the extra length and volume to create a full private deck while retaining large shared spaces elsewhere on board.

Pool and beach club define the aft end

PANGEA’s Main Deck aft carries a 6.5-metre glass-bottomed pool that also acts as a skylight for the Beach Club below. The Beach Club opens to the sea on three sides and incorporates wellness facilities including a gym, hammam and sauna.

The Sun Deck extends to about 200 square metres and includes another large pool area. Together, those spaces show how the Amels 80 platform concentrates much of its lifestyle volume around the upper and aft decks rather than using the additional size only for enclosed accommodation.

Damen Yachting brings three Amels yachts to Monaco

PANGEA is appearing alongside the recently delivered Amels 60 QU2 and the Amels 242 SYNTHESIS. Damen Yachting says the combination is intended to show the breadth of its Limited Editions portfolio, from the 60-metre series through to the larger 80-metre platform and the established 242 design.

For prospective owners, the significance of PANGEA’s Monaco appearance is that the first completed Amels 80 can now be evaluated in person rather than through design material alone. The yacht therefore becomes the physical reference point for subsequent hulls in a series that is already continuing in production.
