80m Amels PANGEA Set for World Debut at Monaco Yacht Show 2026

Damen Yachting will give the 80-metre Amels PANGEA her world debut at the Monaco Yacht Show 2026, which runs at Port Hercule in Monaco from 23 to 26 September. The appearance will also mark the first time an Amels 80 has been presented at a yacht show, giving the Limited Editions flagship its first public show platform since delivery.

PANGEA will headline a three-yacht Amels lineup that also includes the 60-metre QU2 and 74-metre SYNTHESIS. Damen Yachting has assigned PANGEA to berth E14, QU2 to S10 and SYNTHESIS to H15, placing three generations of the Amels Limited Editions portfolio on display during the same Monaco show.

PANGEA brings the Amels 80 to a yacht show for the first time

PANGEA was delivered in 2025 as the first yacht in the Amels 80 series and measures 79.8 metres overall with approximately 2,200 GT of internal volume. Espen Øino developed the exterior design while Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design created the custom interior, combining the established Limited Editions technical platform with substantial owner personalisation.

The yacht's principal features include a 6.5-metre glass-bottom swimming pool on the main deck aft and an expansive beach club below. The pool admits natural light into the beach club, while the yacht also carries a large sundeck and uses hybrid technology as part of the Amels 80's approach to onboard efficiency and quieter operation.

A world debut after the first Amels 80 entered service

The Monaco appearance comes almost a year after PANGEA's delivery and moves the Amels 80 from a private operating yacht to a major public showcase for the builder. That distinction matters because previous announcements focused on construction, delivery and design, whereas the September development is the first opportunity for a yacht-show audience to see a completed Amels 80 in person.

The official Amels profile describes PANGEA as combining a proven technical platform with extensive owner-specific choices rather than functioning as a fixed production design. Her 2,200 GT volume, beach club, pool arrangement and hybrid systems therefore provide a physical demonstration of how the Limited Editions model has been expanded into the 80-metre segment.

QU2 and SYNTHESIS complete a three-yacht Amels lineup

The 60-metre QU2 is the most recently delivered yacht in the Amels 60 design and gives the Monaco display a direct comparison with the larger Amels 80 platform. SYNTHESIS adds the established Amels 242 generation to the lineup, creating a display that spans both current and earlier Limited Editions designs rather than focusing on a single new model.

Presenting all three yachts simultaneously also gives Damen Yachting a way to show how the Limited Editions concept has developed across different sizes and generations. The yachts share the principle of a proven engineering platform combined with owner-led interior and specification choices, while their individual layouts and design programmes remain distinct.

Monaco becomes the first public stage for the Amels 80

Damen Yachting will also operate its hospitality stand at JS6 during the show, covering the wider portfolio of Amels Limited Editions and Full Custom yachts, Xplorer expedition yachts, Yacht Support vessels and refit work. The yacht display therefore forms part of a broader Monaco presence rather than functioning as an isolated PANGEA appearance.
