Damen Yachting proudly announces the successful launch of Project Tanzanite , a landmark moment in the build of the largest Amels Full Custom superyacht to date. Measuring an impressive 120 metres in length with a gross tonnage of 6083 GT, Project Tanzanite has now entered the final outfitting stage at the Amels main shipyard in Vlissingen City.
Originally arriving in the Netherlands in June 2023 following her initial launch at Damen Yachting’s hull facility in Galati, Romania, this extraordinary yacht was recently floated inside the dock, marking a significant milestone in her construction journey.
Over the next year, more than 1000 skilled craftsmen and women from Damen Yachting and the global superyacht supply chain will continue to apply their expertise to bring this full custom masterpiece to completion. Final delivery is scheduled for 2026.
