Baglietto has launched the first 60-metre T60, a roughly 1,100 GT flagship and the largest yacht completed by the shipyard in its history.
Baglietto has launched hull 10260, the first T60 and the largest yacht ever built by the La Spezia shipyard. At 60 metres and about 1,100 GT, the yacht marks a significant step up in scale for a builder whose history reaches back to 1854.
The launch was attended by the owner, family members, yard management and regional and national officials. Baglietto presented the event as both a delivery milestone and evidence of the industrial expansion that has supported its move into larger yachts.
Francesco Paszkowski Design developed the exterior and worked with Margherita Casprini on the interiors. The yacht’s architecture is centred on broad glazing, open sightlines and a more continuous transition between exterior deck areas and interior guest spaces.
The T60 also establishes a design language now being repeated in subsequent units. That continuity is important for a new flagship series because later owners can personalise their yachts while benefiting from engineering already proven on the first hull.
Following launch, the first T60 moves into final commissioning and sea-trial work before delivery. The milestone also gives Baglietto a full-scale reference yacht for a model that had already begun attracting further orders.
Commercially, the T60 expands Baglietto into a segment where buyers expect larger volumes, more complex technical systems and extensive customisation. The first launch shows the yard has converted that ambition from concept into a completed 60-metre platform.
