Arcadia Yachts Previews 38m A125 Flagship for Cannes 2028

A first glimpse of a future flagship

Arcadia Yachts has released a first preview of its 38-metre A125, a proposed new flagship that the Italian yard expects to present officially at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2028. The teaser was shown during the September 2026 edition of Cannes, but the yard has not announced a launch, delivery or completed production yacht.

With a stated gross tonnage of 299GT and an arrangement spread across four decks, the A125 would become the largest yacht Arcadia has designed to date. The initial image reveals little of the finished profile, so details not disclosed by the shipyard should not be inferred from the artwork.

Design and accommodation

Arcadia says naval architecture, exterior styling and interior design were developed in-house for the project. That integrated approach is intended to support the yard's emphasis on onboard space, natural light and a close connection with the surrounding sea, although full deck plans have not yet been released.

The announced standard accommodation is for ten guests in five cabins, with alternative layouts offered to suit individual owners. Separate quarters comprise four crew cabins for seven crew members, a figure that may change with customised arrangements.

What the early specification confirms

The yard has published the length, gross tonnage, deck count and headline accommodation capacity, but its initial announcement does not establish propulsion machinery, maximum speed, range or a contract price. Any performance figures appearing in later marketing should be checked against a model-specific technical specification before being treated as confirmed.

Founder and chief executive Ugo Pellegrino described the A125 as an expansion of Arcadia's existing design philosophy rather than size for its own sake. The yard positions the flagship above the A and Sherpa models it already produces, but a concept preview alone is not evidence of a firm order or a vessel under construction.

The route to the 2028 presentation

The manufacturer says more design material will be disclosed before the full presentation scheduled for Cannes 2028. Timetables for the first build, launch and delivery have not been established by the announcement reviewed here, so the unveiling date should not be presented as a delivery commitment.

The project is a distinct development from Arcadia's recently announced Monaco Yacht Show attendance with the A80 and A96. Superyacht Guide will update the A125 specification when the builder publishes new confirmed design, construction or order details.
