40.2m Baglietto PANAM Offered at €27m After Five-Year Survey

Edmiston is offering the 40.2-metre Baglietto PANAM for €27 million excluding VAT following completion of the yacht's five-year Special Survey in 2026. Delivered in 2021, the full-custom aluminium motor yacht combines a 31-knot quoted top speed with a 397GT interior volume.

The listing is notable because PANAM sits between high-performance yacht design and full-custom superyacht construction rather than following a standard production specification. Edmiston says every major onboard system was individually specified, giving the yacht a more bespoke technical profile than a typical series-built platform.

Triple MTU power and waterjet propulsion

PANAM uses three MTU 16V 2000 engines driving waterjets, with Edmiston quoting a maximum speed of 31 knots. The propulsion package gives the yacht considerably higher performance than many conventional displacement yachts of similar length.

Waterjet propulsion also allows the machinery arrangement and underwater profile to be developed differently from a shaft-driven yacht. For owners interested in fast coastal cruising, that combination of speed and custom engineering is a central part of PANAM's market appeal.

Five-year Special Survey completed in 2026

Edmiston confirms that PANAM has completed her five-year Special Survey, an important milestone for a yacht entering the brokerage market. The main engines are also stated to remain under warranty until 2027, with approximately 1,550 hours recorded on each engine.

Recent class and machinery status can materially affect a buyer's near-term ownership costs, especially on a technically complex fast yacht. It gives prospective buyers a clearer baseline from which to assess maintenance requirements after acquisition.

Saltwater pool and three-sided beach club

The yacht's exterior programme includes a 65-square-metre sun deck with a custom saltwater pool. At the stern, the beach club opens on three sides to create a broad connection with the water when the yacht is at anchor.

Those spaces are particularly relevant on a 40-metre yacht because they increase usable guest area without requiring the overall length of a much larger vessel. Diving equipment, Jet Skis and Seabobs are also listed among the onboard facilities.

At €27 million, PANAM is being marketed as a modern, highly specified and unusually fast custom yacht rather than simply as another 40-metre motor yacht. The combination of recent survey work, low engine hours and performance gives buyers several technical factors to consider alongside the interior and exterior design.

The sale is being handled by Edmiston, which is presenting PANAM during Monaco Yacht Show week. That puts the yacht directly in front of buyers comparing contemporary fast yachts with more conventional displacement alternatives in the same size range.
