Benetti’s 2026 Qatar Boat Show presence highlights its expanding Oasis range, the 70m Clear Waves wellness concept and its longstanding relationships with Middle Eastern owners.

Benetti returns to the Doha audience

Benetti's participation in the Qatar Boat Show, scheduled from 4 to 7 November 2026 in Doha, places the Italian superyacht builder before owners and industry contacts in an important regional market. The programme centres on the evolution of the Oasis family and the 70-metre Clear Waves concept. This is a presentation of designs and the yard's commercial direction; it should not be confused with a claim that a named new yacht has been delivered or is physically berthed at the exhibition.

The Middle East has been part of Benetti's commercial relationships for decades. The company's regional representative Nabil El Jammal has worked with the market since 2004, helping maintain contacts with owners and partners across changing demand cycles. The show gives that network a place to discuss design, new-build planning and services face to face. For a business built around highly individual commissions, continuity in those relationships can matter as much as the unveiling of another model.

How the Oasis idea has developed

Benetti is using the event to explain the progression of the Oasis family, whose defining feature is a main-deck aft environment intended to feel unusually connected to the sea. Fold-down terraces, an integrated pool and a smooth transition between interior and exterior spaces distinguish the arrangement from a more conventional stern lounge. The 40-metre and 34-metre versions established the approach, while the 42-metre and newer 36-metre projects continue the design development.

The newer Oasis 36M introduces revisions to naval architecture and use of interior volume, with the yard pointing to improvements in acoustic comfort, hydrodynamic efficiency and energy management. These are design objectives and company descriptions, not independently measured performance claims. For owners, the practical test is whether the beach area works comfortably both underway and at anchor, with privacy, service routes and weather protection considered alongside the celebrated open arrangement.

A philosophy extending into larger steel yachts

Benetti has also carried the Oasis Deck concept into its B.Now range, whose lengths extend from around fifty to seventy-two metres. The yard reports twenty-one units delivered in that family and another fifteen under construction. Those figures describe the builder's reported programme rather than a single boat-show transaction. They nonetheless illustrate why Benetti views a recognisable aft-deck idea as something that can be reinterpreted across very different sizes and owner profiles.

At the larger end, interior circulation, crew services and technical installations require a different solution from the smaller Oasis models. An open stern designed for guests has to be reconciled with tender handling, operational safety and the separation of working and leisure areas. The Qatar presentation is an opportunity for prospective buyers to examine those distinctions and understand how far a familiar aesthetic translates into the operating realities of a much larger steel superyacht.

Clear Waves puts wellness at the centre

The other major design presented is Clear Waves, a seventy-metre Benetti concept developed with LUCA DINI Design & Architecture and The Longevity Suite. Its defining proposal is a large glazed dome that organises a new approach to wellness, rather than confining spa facilities to a conventional lower-deck compartment. Benetti's project material describes a dome extending across two levels and roughly four hundred square metres, with broad views and an environment intended to connect natural light and onboard life.

The proposed activities include hot- and cold-water experiences, treatment and recovery spaces, relaxation and carefully managed internal conditions. The design also addresses air, water, sound and lighting as parts of the guest experience. These are statements of intent for a concept and should not be read as medical evidence that a yacht can extend human lifespan. The more grounded design question is whether such systems can offer a comfortable, practical and private routine for owners who spend substantial time afloat.

The engineering behind the presentation

Clear Waves is described with a dual-fuel hybrid architecture prepared for HVO and methanol, supported by energy-management and climate systems. Benetti has also referenced approximately 250 square metres of photovoltaic surfaces in the project. How much useful electricity is generated would depend on the eventual installation, operating conditions and detailed specification. The concept's engineering discussion therefore remains distinct from verified fuel-consumption or emissions figures for a built vessel.

The wider company programme illustrates different routes to owner comfort: Oasis uses architectural openness and water-level living, whereas Clear Waves places controlled environments and personal wellbeing at the heart of the design. Both require successful integration of machinery, hotel loads and maintenance access. The show provides a forum to explain those approaches to the Middle Eastern clientele without presenting concept-level technology or proposed amenities as equipment already operating on a delivered yacht.

Regional relationships and the next steps

Benetti's Doha appearance is principally a commercial and design exercise, not an announcement of sales totals arising from the event. The builder's long regional presence provides owners with continuity from an early conversation through specification, construction and after-sales support. With decisions about a full-custom yacht often extending across several years, a local network can simplify communication between clients, designers, shipyard teams and the specialists who will eventually operate the vessel.

For the public, the meaningful distinction is between models available within Benetti's established portfolio, designs still being introduced and individual yachts actually afloat. The Qatar Boat Show runs from 4 to 7 November, and the yard's public material identifies the Oasis family and Clear Waves as subjects of its presentation. Any subsequent order, contract or construction milestone will need separate confirmation. Until then, the development to watch is the continuing evolution of these two contrasting design philosophies.
